The grapevine is buzzing with rumours of a budding romance on the sets of 'Pyaar Ke Do Naam' (Star Plus). The lead actors Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht have been seen cozying up and spending as much time together as possible. Their off-screen chemistry translates brilliantly into on-screen chemistry as well.

Sources on the sets say that the couple have been trying to spend as much time together as possible not only on the sets but also after pack-up. They have also been spotted waiting for the other to finish their shoot.

Both the actors, when contacted, have expressed surprise on the rumours and denied a romance between them.

Indraneil says, "We are working around the clock and it helps to be friendly with our co-stars or else working for over 14 hours everyday becomes difficult. Our scenes are mostly together, so it is inevitable that we will be seen together on the sets. We are friends and there is no romance between us"

Barkha was equally aghast on being confronted with the rumours. "What I do in my free time is entirely my business. I would term my relationship with Indraneil as cordial or else shooting would have been hell."

This show from Rajshree Productions has not really taken off and the new track is seen as a last resort to get in viewers. Sources from the channel have confirmed that this serial is going to be taken off the air soon. When asked if rumours of their romance was also part of that desperate bid, Barkha stresses, "If they are resorting to such gimmicks to prop up ratings, I have no issues either way.
