Rina > Hey, why did you refuse to work in Khakee - a Raj Kumar Santoshi?
Karishma Tanna > Oh my god ! It's just a rumour. I haven't refused. The thing is I was shooting for three Baljai serials Koi Dil Mein Hain , Kyunki and Kahi To Milenge at the time. So I just told them that I'd meet them a couple of days later, as I was shooting. But by then they had already finalised on someone else .

Kiri > Don't you think that you missed a chance to work with Amitabh Bachchan? Most people would have given their right arm to work with 'Big B'?
Karishma Tanna > Yep. I missed a chance and I do regret it. But now I look forward to working with him.

Baddie > Karishma, don't you think the rumour of you refusing to work with Amitabh and Santoshi may send wrong signals and people might think you are too high and mighty, and they may not want to work with you? How do you want to deal with such rumours?
Karishma Tanna > I think time will settle it down because those people who know me also know that I am very professional, and I would never refuse such offers.

Meera > When you are offered roles, what all do you consider before accepting it?
Karishma Tanna > I see the character first, it should satisfy me entirely i.e. the role should be something different than what I have played before

Kalli > How do you think such rumours might have started - any enemies or rivals that you have in the industry? And why would any one want to spread rumor against you ?
Karishma Tanna > I given an interview in a magazine telling them that I did receive an offer for a Raj Kumar Santoshi film, but couldn't meet the filmmaker immediately because of my tight schedule and had requested for a meting with him at a later date. I didn't say that I'd refused the film. May be, the magazine people started the rumour.

Kalli > Karishma, have you come across casting couch yourself and is that what puts you off from filmi people?
Karishma Tanna > No, I haven't come across any casting couch. I haven't come across any bad people.

Qwerty > Hi Karishma, how are you?
Karishma Tanna > I am very well, thank you so much.

Gigs > Where are you from? How did you enter this field?
Karishma Tanna > I am from Mumbai. I was modelling and I thought of submitting my pictures to Balaji. They called me within a week and I was selected.

Mgiera > Who is your favourite costar, which is your favourite TV serial and favourite place of travel?
Karishma Tanna > Co-star would be Hiten Tejwani (Karan in Kyunki...), Ejaz Khan (Arjun in Koi Dil Mein Hai ) and Purva (Kajal in Koi Dil Mein Hai ). Favourite TV serial-FRIENDS and places of travel - USA and Leh-Ladakh region.

Kalli > In case you don't know this, it appeared on a website that you had refused Santoshi because you didn't like him!
Karishma Tanna > I don't even know him personally, so the question of not liking him does not arise. And I would love to work with him if he calls me again.

Super > What's the secret behind your sexy looks?
Karishma Tanna > I don't think I am sexy. I don't behave like one. It's just
my height which makes my personality look so sexy. Where are you from?

Super > Why are you not in films yet?
Karishma Tanna > I haven't got any lead offers yet.

Mina > You just have one serial in hand. What do you plan to do, next? No more serials?
Karishma Tanna > I am looking out for good work, meeting people and let's see if something good comes up, I will take it.

Jali > Do you think you will get a lead offer in film? Aren't you worried that people might offer you b-grade movies? Why can't you girls do a supporting actress role in a good movie?
Karishma Tanna > I would definitely do a supporting role if it's under a good banner. I wouldn't do a b-grade film. I rather stick to my serials. If they offer me b-grade movies I will refuse them. I am not worried. As for the lead offers, I really don't know what will happen next. But, my fingers are crossed.

Frebe > What do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?
Karishma Tanna > I watch the serial FRIENDS on DVD, work out and go for a drive alone. I listen to good music also. In fact that's my hobby - listening to good music .

Super > If you come to movies will you be one more Bipasha Basu or Mallika Sherawat
Karishma Tanna > No way. Something like Rani Mukherjee.

Kali > When is your birthday?
Karishma Tanna > December 21 st .

Jils > What are your future plans?
Karishma Tanna > I don't plan my future. I just take my day as it comes.

Kali > How long are you going to be in KSBKBT?
Karishma Tanna > As long as it is on air.

Super > Why, what's the problem with Mallika Sherawat or Bipasha?
Karishma Tanna > > I am not comfortable exposing.

Mili > Please think back hard, and tell us if there is any opportunity in your career that you think you have missed and because of it you would be in a different position today? Also, if not an actress what would you be?
Karishma Tanna > If not an actress I would have been an air -hostess or working in an ad agency. I have not missed any opportunity that is to be regretted.
