Updates for week: April 10th - April 13th

April 10th

Recap: Radha calls Shyaam to the boxers hotel room. Boxer beats Shyaam up. Radha touches the wind chime..Shyaam has flash backs. Adi and Shyaam stay at a broken down house after their jeep breaks down. They see a pic of Shyaama (Radha's earlier birth). The caretaker (Ramdeen) tells them that the girl has been dead for years now.

Adi jokes around with the caretaker, who is not amused. Adi says that they have seen this girl just today morning and Shyaam has even felt her (slap). Ramdeen (RD) says that the whole village knows that the girl has been dead for years. Adi tells Shyaam that this means that the girl they've seen (Radha) is a ghost. Adi asks RD whose house this is. RD says that it belongs to a old man called Ballu Kaka. Shyaam gets a few more flash backs of a tanga. Shyaam is thoughtful and keeps looking at the picture and is very quiet.

Shyaam and Adi are getting ready for bed. Shyaam is still very thoughtful. Adi says he is feeling hot and going to open the window. Shyaam has flashbacks of a river. As Adi is opening the window, Shyaam asks hims suddenly if there is a river outside. Adi looks outside and sees the river. He is shocked. He asks Shyaam how he knows...This is the first time they have ever been here. Shyaam just says he doesnt knw but everything here looks very familiar. Adi tells him he is getting scared coz Shyaam is talking lilke this and tells him to go to sleep and goes to sleep.

Shyaam can't sleep and he is still thoughtful. He hears the sound of a girl's PAYAL. He sits up. He has flashbacks of Shyaama and tears flow out of his eyes. (I personally liked this scene a lot when the tears just flowed out of his eyes without him even realizing...Very well potrayed! 👏)
We see a female pair of feet with payal walking. The girl is dressed in white. Shyaam takes the lamp and goes out. He looks around and sees Shyaama's picture and walks toward it.

He hears the sound of Payal again. He sees the girl dressed in white. He is walking parallel to her. She walks into a doorway, as he goes there she is not there. As Shyaam looking into the doorway, we see the girl behind him.Shyaam sees the girl behind her and moves toward her but she disappears. RD suddenly appears. Shyaam asks if anyone else lives there. RD says abt Ballu Kaka. Shyaam asks if any girl lives there. RD says no. RD tells him to go sleep. Shyaam suddenly sees a flashback of a girls hand playing over the piano. Shyaam asks RD if there is a piano in the house. RD is surprised and says its upstairs and asks how he knows. Shyaam says that he just felt like he knew there was a piano in the house. RD tells him it's better for him if he goes to sleep.

Shyaam goes upstairs. He is looking around when he sees the piano covered with a sheet. He goes toward it and moves the sheet and opens it. Suddenly the chains (the same chains he saw in the flashback when he saw Radha touch the windchime in his hotel room) in the room shake. He sees the girl dressed in white again. He runs behind her but again cant find her. He looks out of the window next to him and sees the girl outside walking toward the house, she just walks into another direction and cant be found. Shyaam keeps looking outside. Suddenly behind him the girls hand plays over the piano. He looks behind him and goes to the piano. He sits at the piano, and starts playing the tune of the title song very slowly. He hears the payal dancing in rhythm to his tune. He plays again, he can hear the payal dancing in rhythm again. Adi wakes up hearing the music. Shyaam starts playing faster and the payal sounds are faster too (the ghost girl is dancing to the music) . Adi looks at the bed next to him and sees its empty.

Adi comes upstairs and finds Shyaam playing the piano really fast. Adi is shocked. Adi calls out to shyaam but he doesnt hear him. Adi touches Shyaam and shyaam is jerked out of his stupor. Adi asks him when he learnt to play the piano. Shyaam says he doesnt know to play but he knows the tune, he recognises the tune. He says that his fingers started playing the tune on their own. Adi says that already the house is weird and Shyaam's behaviour is scaring him. He tells him to come and sleep. Shyaam just sits there. Adi just helps Shyaam up and takes him. As they leave the room, we see the girls hand play over the piano keys!! 😊

April 11th

Adi is sleeping. RD bends over him and puts 2 fingers under his nostrils. Adi wakes up suddenly and gets scared seeing RD over him. He demands to know wht RD is doing. RD says that he has been trying to wake him up for a long time but he was not waking up, so he was checking whether he was dead or alive.. Adi asks where Shyaam is. RD says that he has been missing since morning.

Shyaam is walking around the village. All the places look familiar to him. He keeps having flashbacks about the place. He sees a girl twirl around in front of him and she runs past him. Shyaam follows her. He follows her to a place where the girl is sitting on a swing and there are a number of girls there. A friend of the girl on the swing says she knows who girl on swing's prince charming is. All the others ask who? She (the friend) says hes one from the city. All the girls laugh. Suddenly the main friend sees Shyaam and says that the girls prince has come and all the girls run away leaving her alone on the swing. Shyaam walks towards her. We see her swing back and forht on the swing and as Shyaam gets close to the swing, SHE DISAPPEARS! Shyaam is shocked. He looks around, there is noone to be seen. He catches hold of the empty swing. He suddenly hears a song.

He foolows the sound of the girls voice. The girl is walking across the river. Shyaam follows her. Again, suddenly she disappears! He hears the song again. He sees her walk down a village path. He follows her. The girl (shyaama) is singing a song about how to live without love. She dances. Shyaam keeps following her until......yes...she's disappeared again!!!!

Again he hears her song and this time shes near a well (the well is situated on top of a set of stairs which leads down to a river) The girl sits on one of the stairs and sings. Shyaam comes up to her and goes to touch her shoulder when she gets up and moves and his slides over her whole arm and she just goes down the staris and disappears. Shyaam keeps looking around and thinking the area is familiar.

Adi comes there. Adi asks Shyaam where he has been all this time. He tells Shyaam that he has been looking for him all morning. He asks Shyaam wht he is doing here. Shyaam has no answer. Adi just tells him they have to find a mechanic and takes him from there.

They return to the old house. Adi says hell ask RD where to get a mechanic from and goes to find RD. Shyaam just stand there. Suddenly, he hears a voice. He turns around to see noone. Suddenly he has a flashback of an old lady saying "Arre Kisan, bahar hi khada rahega kya? Andar aa, khaana khale, maine tere liye bajre ki roti banayi hai" Suddenly he sees Shyaama covering her face with the dupatta saying "Kisan tu kabhi himmat nahi haar sakta, tu toh saare gaonwallon ki himmat ho..." He sees Ballu telling him to come in and eat and that he wont eat without him. He sees the same old lady telling him to sleep as he has to go to work tommorow and he will be tired. Shyaama saying "itna itraao mat..tumhara ghar hai toh kya hua? main jab chahe yahaan aa sakti hoon" Ballu saying that hed give his life for Kisan. He keeps hearing all the voices again and again. He sees himself as Kisan telling Shyaama she looks good as she is. Shyaam is confused and shocked.

Shyaam gets into one of the rooms of the house. He looks around. He sees an old cupboard and opens it and looks inside it.He opens another cupboard and takes out a very old newspaper and looks at it. He sees a pic of Kisan in it with the headline "FIRST CLASS IN CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY" Shyaam is shocked beyond belief.

Adi comes there and asks him why he is behaving like this. He says this house is haunted and stuff like that.Adi says they should get outta there as soon as possible. Shyaam says they are not going anywhere. Adi asks why and says they have to go back home. Shyaam says this is his house and his childhoon and youth was spent here. Adi replies that he is still a youth but the only difference is that he is a crazy youth. Adi screams at Shyaam asking him if this is his house then who lives in Mumbai? Shyaam shows Adi the newspaper and Adi is shocked. Shyaam keeps saying "yeh mera ghar hai, yeh mera ghar hai..." Adi tells him they have to leave and he is sure there is some ghost thing happening in the house. Adi keeps saying "lets go from here, lets go lets go...." Shyaam says they cant leave, there is some truth about him hidden here that he has to find out.

Shyaam goes outside. He sees Shyaama's picture and goes near it. He keeps getting flashbacks. He wipes the dirty picture clean. He keeps looking at the picture and sees it half coloured. He gets a flashback of Kisan painting the picture while Shyaama poses. She keeps fidgeting and he tells her not to move. He says he is trying to capture her and she keeps moving. She says that she is a free bird, he cant capture her. He tells her to try being captured by him, shell never want to be free again. She blushes and smiles. Someone calls out Kisan's name and Shyaama gets scared and tells him shes going. She runs away. He calls after her and tells her to come at the same time tommorow. He continues painting and looks at the painting and smiles. Flashback ends.

Shyaam keeps looking at the picture and touching Shyaama's face in it. RD comes behind him. Shyaam tells him that he made this painting. RD asks him wht he is saying, the painting is ages old. Shyaam says he knows. He walks away. Shyaam asks RD "abhi kahan hai woh?" . RD thinks Shyaam is tlaking about Shyaama and says that she has been dead for years now. Shyaam says he is talking about Ballu. He gets flashbacks of the tanga. RD replies that near the village there is a mountain and since years, every moring to evening, Ballu sits on the peak of that mountain,as if he is waiting for someone.then he comes home, eats food with a friend, and cries himself to sleep every night. Shyaam asks if any friend of Ballu lives here. RD says no, there is just a letter of the friend. Shyaam gets flashbacks of sitting in the tanga with Ballu.

April 12th

Adi has managed to find a mechanic and telling him that he has got the car to him with a lot of difficulty. The mechanic is looking at the tires. Adi asks him wht is wrong with the car. The mechanic says he was checking the air in the tires. Adi says how can the air in the tires affect the engine!?!? Mechanic says everything in the enigne looks okay. He says hell have to get it checked by his brother...Adi asks him why he cant do it...Mechanic says that he only fills air in the tires, his brother is the real mechanic...Adi ka haal behaal ho jata hai... 😆

Shyaam is yet again, wandering through the village... He touches parts of a broken tanga....He sees the wheel of it...He spins the wheel...Flashback of Kisanand Ballu in the tanga...Ballu and Kisan sing a song...(full on "YEH DOSTI" type song..abt friendship and things like that....) Kisan talks about how he wants to improve life for the village ppl. Ballu says his dream will come tue (or sumthing like that...i didnt hear properly...) and feeds him...We see Shyaam with his mouth open...

Another mechanic at the jeep with Adi. He manages to repair the jeep. Adi is very happy...He gives the mechanic 100 rupees. The mechanic says its just experience. Adi agrees with him and congratulates him. The mechanic tells him he has been repairing cycles for 10 years now!!!! 😆 Adi falls down in shock.. 😆😆

Shyaam is running throught the village paths....He asks the ppl where he can find Ballu...They say he can find him somewhere in this area. The girl in white (shyaama) calls out to him saying Kisan. She starts walking , shyaam following her. She walks up to a cliff and says Kisan again. She walks to the end and disappears. Shyaam runs and is about to run off the cliff when Adi holds his hand and saves him. He screams at Shyaam, wht the hell was he thinking??? Shyaam sees Shyaamas face all over the place. Adi says they have to go back as his father will be very angry. Shyaam says they have to go Shyaamas house and says her house near the temple and runs away... Adi screams SHYAAM ARE YOU CRAZY? and runs after him....

They reach the mid village. They see a house with A..B..C.. written on it... Flashback...Kisan teaching the kids of the village...Shyaama comes there and disturbs them...Kisan tells her to go away and shes a disturbance, he is teaching the kids...She says she is very smart, she is a fourth grade pass...He laughs at her..She says she knows everything... He laughs and asks her to tell him also wht she knows... She says she knows there are A, b, c in english and a JADD...He laughs at her and tells her it's Z not JADD... She says he is not an englishman to correct her...And she teaches all the kids JADD JADD JADD.... And shyaam says JADD out loud. Adi says wht the hell is JADD now? Shyaam just smiles and tells him to come with him to find Ballu kaka...Adi asks "purani picture waala?" Shyaam just smiles and pulls him along...

Ballu sits near the river..He hold the letter from Kisan and cries...Flashback of Ballu running through the village yelling about how he got Kisan's letter....Ballu reading the letter out to the village...This is what the letter says:
Dear Ballu, Hope you are in good health...Im returning to the village. I will remain in the village with you now. We spent our childhood together, now we will spend our youth together in the village working for its betterment.
(Kisan coming back to the village and hugging Ballu.)
I want to work for the village and its ppl...
(Kisan saying i want your help in tht ballu...)
Ballu crying "i could not help you kisan...!I wronged you...I am not dying also...." He is just crying overcome with guilt over betraying his friend.... Shyaams hand touches him from behind... Ballu turns around and is shocked....Ballu remembers his time with kisan... He keeps staring at Shyaams face... Shyaam smiles at Ballu. Ballu calls him Kisan. Adi is just watching. Shyaam also seems to be emotional. Shyaam helps Ballu up. Ballu keeps saying YOU HAVE COME BACK KISAN!!! and hugs him... Shyaam also cries and hugs him back.... Both just hug each other and cry while Adi watches and is teary too....

The scene where Shyaam cries and hugs ballu is absolutely amazing.... You really feel like hes in tht situation...Indraneil is really good at his job.. im surprised he didnt get any offers before! Amazing scene, do try to watch it!!!! 😃

April 13th

Ballu and Shyaam are still hugging and crying. Ballu cries and begs for forgivness. Shyaam just looks at him tearfully and nods. Shyaam says he is not angry with him and how can he be angry with his brother? Ballu is happy that Shyaam (Kisan) has forgiven him and says now he can die peacefully. Shyaam says they have met after years, not to talk about leaving. Ballu just collapses in Shyaams arms and dies. Shyaam just hugs Ballu and cries. Adi watches on sadly... Flashbacks of Kisan and Ballu in the village and in the tanga... Shyaam just keeps crying.

Ballu's cremation takes place. Shyaam looks on tearfully as Adi supports him. Shyaam looks at the letter he wrote to Ballu as Kisan.
Flashback: Ballu running through the village screaming happily that Kisan is returning. Ballu stops the postman and tells him that Kisan is returning. He tells the postman to read the letter to him. Postman tells him that just this morning he read it to him in the post office. Ballu says he just cant get enough. Postman agrees and begins reading the letter to Ballu.
An old woman (Dadi) is feeding the cows. She screams at 2 girls (Shyaama's friends frm the prev epi) for not making the chulha properly. She says she got the chulha made by Shyaama last time who totally screwed it up.She says she doesnt understand what is wrong with the girls of these days. The 2 girls just laugh. Dadi continues and says the girls these days are good for nothing, god knws wht will happen when they get married and go to another village. Ginno (shyaamas best friend) says that its possible that she gets married in this village only. Dadi scolds her and tells her to have some shame while talking about her marriage and that ntn can be done of her and shyaama...

Ballu comes screaming and tells them that Kisan is coming back to the village. Dadi is very happy that her Kisan is coming back day after tommorow. Dadi sends Ginno to the halwaai to get sweets to take to the temple. She also tells her to get paalak as Kisan luvs paalak. Ginno runs off. Dadi says Kisan is coming after 7 years, and she cant wait to see him all grown up. Ballu says that he'll look exactly like him "gaaon ka gabroo jawaan!" but more handsome than himself. Ballu says he has to decorate his tanga and he has to go buy some stuff for that and he runs away.

Ginno takes a stone and throws it at the mango tree. A girl falls down with many mangos in her hands. She turns around, its Shyaama...She looks angrily at Ginno and says that she would have broken her hands and legs now. Ginno asks her wht she was doing on top of the tree. Shyaama says she was eating the mangos. Ginno tells her that Kisan is coming back. Shyaama becomes happy and you can see her getting all teary, but she controls herself and asks Ginno when hes coming. Ginno says day after tommorow. Shyaama acts like she is not impressed.She says Kisan is coming, not some kinda prince. Ginno tells her hes coming from the city becoming an english man. Shyaam rebukes her and says Kisan and english man? She says no matter how much sugar you put on the karela, it wont become sweet. Shyaama says you wait and watch, he must not have changed at all, hell still be the same old idiot that he was. Ginno asks her to come with her to pluck spinach for Kisan. Shyaama replies that she is not Kisan's servant to do things like these. Ginno says she'll go alone. Shyaama tells her to take the spinach from her field as the spinach is good there. Ginno starts to go. Shyaama stops her and says shell also come and quickly says not for Kisan but because Dadi said so. Ginno understandingly smiles and says ok then , come along. Shyaama blushes and they both leave.

Ballu gets a passenger in his tanga to go to the Devi Mandir. Ballu asks him if hell read a letter for him. The passenger says he would read it but he doesnt know how to read! Ballu stops the tanga and tells him to get out. Another passenger comes and asks whether he will take them to the Devi Mandir. Ballu asks him if he knows to read. The man says yes. Ballu gets excited and asks him to get into the tanga. Ballu gets the passenger to read the letter Kisan sent for him. Ballu gets really happy.

Its late night and really dark. Someone is knocking on the door of the house of the postman. He gets up and opens the door. Its Ballu! he asks him to read Kisans letter out to him. The postman tells him that its late night and he has already read the letter to him 10 times. Ballu tells him to just read the letter 3,4 times more for him, after that it will be by heart for him and he wont forget . Postman agrees and reads it to him and Ballu is trying hard to by heart the letter.

Next morning: Ballu has gathered the entire village in front of him and tells them he will read out Kisan's letter to them. We see a guy in pant-shirt walk throught the village. (KISAN!!!! WHEEEEEE!!!!!!!)
Ballu is just reading the letter out from memory. Kisan walking towards Ballu. Ballu is readin out the part where Kisan has said he wants to help the village. Ballu starts to read out "aur isme..." Kisan puts his hand on ballus shoulder and completes the sentence "aur isme mujhe tumhara saath chahiye..." Ballu is overjoyed to see Kisan. They hug while all the children of the village dance around them.

Shyaam tells Adi he wishes Adi could see how happy Ballu was to see him that day. Shyaam says that he could feel the happiness of the village becoz of his return. He tells him he loved his village as much as a child loves its mother. Adi says he is confusing him . Adi says the happiness of ballu you are talking about, ive seen the same ballu beg for forgivness from you. i saw him die in your arms, the same ballu who even today started his day by reading the letter you wrote him. Adi asks him wht happened that Ballu was begging for forgivness in that manner. Shyaam is thoughtful. Adi asks wht burden was on Ballus heart that it could be lessened only be asking for forgivness from him? Adi says that no matter how sweet the starting of the story of his past life was, something happened that made the ending really weird and confusing. Adi keeps asking why Ballu asked him for forgiveness. Shyaam is still thoughtful. Shyaam tells him he feels as though he is living in his past life and wants to know every detail of his past properly.He wants to knw what happend that the rock of freindship collapsed to the forces of betrayal and distrust. What caused Ballu to turn away from him (Kisan) and go away. He tells Adi something has happened that shocked him.


I am really thankful to all of you for waiting so long for the updates! Thank you! And yet again, im really sorry i took so long, I hope the update is good enuff to make up for the wait...
