This should be Neelima's fight, not Pushpa's. The person enduring the pain needs to get a chance to deal with the situation, because otherwise there is no respite. Baaki sab ne na wo dekha hai, na suna hai na hi samajh sakte hai to that level that the survivor does. I think maybe it will be Neelima who kills him in self-defence and Pushpa helps her cover/hide the body. Then they can have the narrative of how it is not always possible to wait for justice to be delivered, sometimes you take justice in your hands and kill the Mahisasur, but then walk the thin line between morality and illegality. In court they can determine that this is not something to be punished severely as this was a DV case.

Possible. Ultimately they will come up with the plot to showcase the different types of DV: physical (Neelima case), emotional (Bapodra case) and maybe they will show one in a richer setting to show it is not just an economically driven phenomenon. Lets wait and watch.

Exactly. And that is a message that needs to be given to majority. That just coz someone is economically secure, does not mean everything else is okay. I wrote about this even when talking in the context of the movie Thappad, which showed the lawyer going through emotional domestic violence with her partner, and feeling caught up in the web coz her FIL had initially helped her a lot to set up and she was constantly expected to give up her individual identity to live up to that family name. Something similar could be in the works here if they can bring Mona Ma'am again?
Even I was thinking of Mona's re entry after seeing the promo.
Hope she makes a return. Will be a huge boost to the storyline of real women empowerment too 👍🏼
