Renu track becomes the talk-of-town? purpose in the show?

what is really the purpose of this renu track & nizam track? today, the episode was like hide-n-seek, wherein everyone searches for renu & the nizam guy & his man found her so they conceal before anyone else can notice her. i felt remorseful for the young child actress enacting renu like just so much torture...ahilya is more consternated about renu & only glanced at khanderao when he was physically present in front of her...at least he had the humanity to search for renu despite his conflicts w/ ahilya & malharao even if the reason is gautamabai...even gautamabai showed some humanitarian concern towards renu even if it was for saving her family's image & reputation...

my mom was remarking about the possibility of renu getting hitched to khanderao in this show but she said it was only a prediction since there is little information on khanderao's remaining 9 spouses...

I don't think renu will get hitched with khanderao. Because in those times there were absolutely no instances of widow remarriage. Widow remarriage started around mid -19 century, i.e around 1850s. But yes maybe renu could turn into khanderao's concubine or something like that.

But I liked the small nok jhok between khanderao and ahilya. I think their friendship will again restart after a few days.

And also the bonding between khanderao and Gautamabai was also quite good (although I have severe dislike for Gautamabai) . After watching the scenes of khanderao and his mother, I feel if malharrao gave khanderao the same kind of attention that he gives Ahilya, then probably he too would become a more likable character. (here I am only speaking about the show's khanderao).

Edit: Lastly I wish the cvs had diminished Ahilya's crying scenes, it's quite irritating to watch her crying all the time.

yes, sati was a common practice or widow was the permanent choice...it's just that the tracks become so predictable ...im not sure if khanderao had concubines at that time...malharao had one child out of wedlock, according to the sources, but dunno about khanderao..

tbh, at least they showed that gautamabai has humanity towards renu so will give that bit & khanderao at least thought of renu;s betterment...i dunno why they want to put her on pedestal for...
