Sorry friends for this delay.
well, I will be starting with Babar's attacks on India in Sahab Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji's time. The Lodhi Dynasty governor of Lahor Dolat Khan(1519) invited Babar to attack on India because he wasn't in good terms with King of Delhi. It was babar's 3 rd attack on India and Guru Nanak dev ji was in Amnabad with bahi Mardana visiting his friend Bhai Lalo.
Guru Nanak dev ji witnessed the massacre of Amnabad (1521). He wrote in holy Granth Sahab, how our married woman and young girls were insulted, their hair were pulled in the streets of Amnabad:
Jin sir sohan patian, mangi payee sandhoor (red colour in hair)
se ser katee muniyan, gal wich aavee dhur,
mehla ander hondian, hun bahen na mulan hadur
Aadesh baba aadesh
(holy granth sahab pg. 417)
Guru ji and Mardana was also captured and sent in prison and asked to grind garins using the hand grinders. Guru ji was singing holy gurbani in prison. Meer khan, the jail officer heard him singing and was very impressed with him. He informed Babar that there was a holy man in his prison. Babar came to see Guruji and wanted his blessings. Guru Nanak advised him to release all prisoners and Babar agreed.
Later king Humayun (Babar's son) came to see our second guru Sahab guru Anjad dev ji in Khadur Sahab in 1540. Humayun had lost the battle with Sher Shah Suri and was running to Afganistan. In his way, somebody advised him to see holy guru ji thus he went to Khadur sahab to see Angad dev ji and seek his blessings in order to win back his lost kingdom of Delhi. Guru ji was enjoying kids wrestling that time and didn't welcome Humayun by standing and offering him hospitality. The king Humayun became very upset and pulled his sword out. Guru ji smiled and said, "Why didn't you pull this sword against Sher Shah Suri. Its not nice to show your power to Saints and faquirs. " He was very ashamed of his actions and appologized to Guruji.
Humayun's son Akbar was in very good terms with Sikh Gurus. Akbar came several times to see Guru Amardass ji (in 1565) and Guru Ramdass ji. King Akbar sat in the kitchen or langar sahab and ate with ordinary people. He donated the land of Jhabal area of Goindwal to bibi bhani ji, Guru ji's daughter because guru ji refused ti accept his donation for guru ka Langer.
King Akbar wanted to make guru Amardass ji happy and wanted his blessings. He begged guru ji to put his demands or concerns. Guru ji said, "If you really want my blessings you must ban Saati tradition and also ban the law of Jazia." Jazia was a tax imposed on Hindu pilgrims. Akbar agreed and scraped Jazia and also banned Sati tradition. ( Hindu women were forced to die with the death of their husband)
to be continued.
