Songz of Punjab

Lalchand Yamla Jatt- loved his voice and lyrics "Mein teri tu mera" is my all time fave songs and his shabad "Jina lai paap karna eh ohna ne naal nai jana" has become my motto.

Asa Singh Mastana- his voice displayed so much pain that even today when I hear "Doli Chardeyan Maarian Heer Cheekhan" I cry

Chamkila & Amarjot- he was the man of ghetto punjabi songs the lyrics always crack me up and I am even loving the remixes of his tracks, of course his song are incomplete without Amarjot they are my one and only favorite duet singers. "Pehla Lalkara" is my favorite.

Gurdas Mann- I am always surprised at how realistic his songs are plus since he is also my Dad's favorite I have grown up listening to him. "Challa" along with "Babul Da Dil" are my faves my dad used to sing Babul Da Dil to me and cry I think I will be using that during my bidaai

Kuldeep Manak- One of the best folk song singers of all time, his voice and songs are amazing. "Tere tolon toh surat deedhi aa heer di" Plus his "Ma hundi eh Ma oh duniya waaleo" will really get you teary eyed.

Surinder Kaur/Parkash Kaur- they have given us some of the best punjabi tappe and boliyan absolutely love "Jutti Kasoori"

Surjit Bindrakhia- after Gurdas Mann and Manak he had the best voice in the recent times, his voice and diction of punjabi was always crystal clear. I will really miss him and his songs, nothing in the recent times can compare with "Tera Yaar Bolda"
