Well, every year, on 31 May, World
Health Organisation and partners
mark World No Tobacco Day,
highlighting the health risks
associated with tobacco use and
advocating for effective policies
to reduce tobacco consumption.
Tobacco kills nearly six million
people each year, of which more
than 600 000 are non-smokers
dying from breathing second-
hand smoke.
Your favourite TV celebs also join
in to tell no to tobacco.
Kratika Sengar:
I would like to request people to
stop smoking. Passive smoking is
also equally injurious and I
would like to appeal to people to
pay more attention to their
health and the people around
them. God has given us such a
beautiful life and we should
enjoy it rather than indulging in
vices.
