Zahida Parveen, who plays Gayatri Scindia in Shashi Sumeet Mittal's Punar Vivah is all set to bid adieu to the show due to health issues. Yes, she is counting her last few days on the sets as she has to leave the show due to health problems.
Our source said, "Zahida will be shooting her last scene tomorrow as she is suffering from a knee problem. Her knees are swelling up. In the upcoming tracks of the show, the viewers will get to see a little fight sequence between Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aakash (Akshay Dogra) and Gayatri will fall when she interferes between the two. Eventually she will get hurt leading to her death".
Our source also informed us that the sequence wherein Gaytri has to throw hot water on Aarti (Kratika Sengar) was delayed because Zahida was unable to manage shooting due to her health problem. The production earlier tried to look for a replacement but they couldn't find a best face to replace her. Thus, this decision was taken".
When contacted Zahida who confirmed the news saying, "I have got a knee injury for which I have been adviced to take rest for at least 3-4 months. The character has become so popular that no other face was a perfect replacement. The channel hence decided to eliminate the character altogether".
When asked about she will miss the most on Punar Vivah, she shared, "I am very attached to Yash. He is a nice guy and I am going to miss him the most. The scenes we both have done together have turned out looking very realistic. Sometimes he didn't even use glycerine to cry. All of them are down to earth whether it's Gurmeet, Kratika, Chetan Pandit or anyone else. We correct each other and guide each other too. Shashi Sumeetji are the captains of the ship and the crew members follow their captain. There is a positive spirit on the sets of Punar Vivah. I will miss the teasing of Chetan Panditji and whenever he teasesd me, the entire cast and crew went against him."
"It's all a matter of 3-4 months. After that, I may be come back again somewhere or the other. I am crying because I have become so attached to everyone that I'll miss all of them but the show must go on," concludes Zahida.
We wish Zahida Parveen a speedy recovery!
