Ok, this is geting ridiculous! Much as I loved the fast pace the logic was missing completely. Well, it looks like the PH is in a hurry to wrap this show up. Rather than give this story a good finish, they are doing a mish-mash of everything they wanted to show and condensing it to a matter of a few weeks. Since when does a judge sentence a murder suspect based on speculations from people and no solid proof?

The performances on the other hand were mind-blowing from every single character. Eijaz especially did a brilliant job portraying the conflicted Vikrant. Even as he walked to court, he was battling with his emotions. I think the depth of his insecurities really came to the fore, because that is what drove his actions. It was no longer about revenge or ego. It was easier for Vikrant to let the doubts play on his mind and to consider her guilty, evidence or not. It was easier for him to believe that Sarita and the happiness she brought were too good to be true. It was easier for him to draw on his abandonment issues than believe that life had finally given him something rare and precious. Because the alternative meant accepting that he no longer had to live in self-pity or wall himself up, and that he could finally give his heart the freedom to embrace his new life.

Even though I do not approve of what Vikrant did, my heart went out to him when he mistook Abhi for Sarita. It showed how consumed he was by her thoughts and absence. I would like to think that even as he was giving his statement, his heart did not agree with it. It was as if he was knowingly sending her to her 'death', for that is what the sentence meant to her, and was powerless to stop himself because of the stranglehold his emotions had on him.

Vikrant's lack of trust did what 10 years of suffering as Mrs. Jakotia couldn't do to her, it broke her spirit and resolve. As she was led away from court, she appeared to be resigned to her fate. If nothing else, then Sarita's show of faith in Vikrant should have woken him up! I think deep down he always knew well that she could never be a murderer, but by then he was too far gone in his hatred and show of apathy to accept that she had just given up her life for him.

I loved Divya's outburst - every single word she uttered had a scathing effect on his already tormented soul. The last line especially was haunting: that his actions would have a negative effect on him and his son. In his blind fury, he forgot the main reason for his PV, and the fact that his emotions as a husband and lover should have never taken precedence over the needs of his son. 😡

Bless Abhi, the little cupid and peacemaker! Maybe we should let kids watch cartoons more often!😃 His caring for his father and continuous attempts at keeping his promise to his mother showed how much of a positive effect Sarita has had on his life and views. Once upon a time this kid would always throw tantrums and give his father a hard time, but now he is showing maturity beyond his young years. This is the essence of Sarita that Vikrant would never be able to substitute or take away.

Based on the last couple of pre-caps, it would be a beautiful contrast of emotions when Vikrant watches the CD. He is in a living hell, drowning in misery and despair, and her angelic voice will soothe his aching heart, assuage his fears, and make him realize that it is she who will complete him again. Her innocence and pure love will be a sharp contrast to what he has done. I believe the rage he will feel when he understands the gravity of his mistakes combined with guilt will create a storm that will drive him to take drastic action.

Personally, I can't wait to watch the scene where Vikrant watches and the CD and comes to terms not just with her innocence and guilt, but also what it means to be a real husband and fulfill the vows he took during their PV rituals.

Very well analyzed. Couldn't have said it better myself.
And yes, the way they are hurrying to wrap up the storyline is actually spoiling the essence of the show to a certain extent.
