Next day, aarti went to saritas place:

"ummm sarita i want to talk to you. Something important. Actually its about bhaiyaa

anddd... And you also" Aarti was herself unsure about sarita's reaction. "Aarti please,

now you dont start it". Aarti tried to convince her, "but sarita listen. Bhaiyaa isnt that much

bad". Sarita replied, " i am not saying he is bad". Aarti aasked, "then whats the problem.

Why cant you marry bhaiyaa. Even Abhi likes you. You know yesterday abhi asked bhaiyaa

to marry you". Sarita was shocked. Aarti continued, "But he denied". Sarita heaved a sigh of

relief. She said," see, even your bhaiyaa doesnt want to marry me". Vandana comes and

asks aarti the matter. Aarti tells everything to vandana, then vandana says," sarita, this

guy does seem good". Sarita was irritated and said, " now mumma please you dont start

it again. I dont want to marry anyone". Vandana was irritated by sarita's continuos denial.

She shouted, "sarita, i dont want you to live here. I want to fulfill all my responsiblities.

I want you to get married, so that i could die peacefully". Sarita walked out of the house

without replying. Aarti went upto sarita and asked, "sarita, aunty isnt wrong. She wants

you to move on. Have family. You are 30 now, you have a long life ahead. She cant see

you alone like this." vandana comes out, and orders aarti, "aarti ask your brother to meet

sarita tonight at 9". Aarti said," but aunty, sarita?" vandana replied, "sarita would be ready".

sarita was unsure. Sarita never wanted to marry anyone else, but now she was in dilemma.

Vikrant's place:

"bhaiyaa, listen". Aarti said. " haan i m listening, you continue". Vikrant replied, totally

engrossed in his work. "No, not like this". Aarti closed vikrant's laptop and

said, "now listen". She continued, holding vikrant's hand, "bhaiyss, yesterday abhi

asked something from you. Now i want something from you". Vikrant

replied," i will give you everything, but i wont promise you for something which abhi

asked". Aarti was irritated by the same argument, "but bhaiyaa, abhi wasnt wrong. He needs

a mother, and you need a wife". Vikrant replied,"abhi has you. I have jhanvi's memories.

We dont need anyone else". Aarti tried to convince him, "bhaiyaa, you know there is a

difference between a mother and motherlike. I m like a mother to abhi, but i can never be

his mother. He wants his mother". Vikrant was about to leave, but aarti shouted, "bhaiyaa,

listen if you went like this. I would think you never considered me your sister, thats why

you are going like this". Vikrant made aarti sit and tried to convince her, but aarti was in no

mood listen. She said, "bhaiyaa, please why dont you understand, you cant live whole life

like..,,,like a robot. Working day and night for us, i want you to live for yourself. Please

bhaiyaa, please". Vikrant gave up and said, "ohhkaay, i m ready for marriage. But i will not

marry any girl as my wife, she should only be abhi's mother. Nothing else". Aarti knew that

after marriage, even vikrant would fall for her, "okay, so you have to come with me tonight

at 8. We will be going to meet a girl". Aarti immediately left from there, as she knew vikrant

would give excuses.

At Sarita's place:

Sarita was pacing back and forth, in the kitchen. Waiting for the arrival of aarti with vikrant.

A car finally came. It was aarti with vikrant and abhi. Aarti rang the bell. Abhi was

very excited because finally he would get a mother. Vikrant was equally nervous as sarita.

Sheila opened the door, and welcomed them. Aarti, vikrant and abhi made themselves

comfortable on the sofa. Vandana asked shiela to bring sarita, but vikrant said,"umm

actually, i would like to keep it short. Can i go and meet her directly, because i have a

meeting lined up". Shiela took vikrant with her to sarita's room, she made sarita understand,

that vikrant wanted to meet her, and talk to her. Shiela went. Vikrant initiated the

conversation, " i know you would expect something from me, but i will like to tell you,

that i only want mother for my abhi, not a wife for myself". Sarita replied, "even i wanted

to say, that she would never be able to become his wife. She would only be abhi's mother".

Vikrant said, "so that means the deal is on". Sarita asked, "deal??" vikrant replied, "yeah this

marriage deal. And dont worry, i will never touch you, or try to come close to you". Sarita

replied, "i want sometime to think". Vikrant said,"okay, then tell aarti about your reply". And

he left the room. Sarita was shocked by vikrant's behaviour. Vikrant came and went. There

conversation only lasted for 15 minutes. This equally shocked vandana and shiela, as vikrant

left, leaving behind abhi and aarti.

In the car:

"how can this happen. Sarita is raj's widow. I ruined sarita's life. It was because of me that

raj died".

When the plane crashed, vikrant jhanvi abhi and raj were together. Vikrant and raj became

friends on that journey from paris. Raj successfully escaped from the plane, when the plane

crashed. But he realised that vikrant and jhanvi were nowhere to be seen. Raj went to the

burnt place. Where only fire was evident. Raj looked for vikrant and jhanvi. He saw

vikrant numb, with his one hand on jhanvi's body and another hand holding abhi.

Raj was petrified seeing vikrant like that. He lifted vikrant and abhi up, leaving jhanvi

there. Raj said, "vikrant, listen. We have to go. We have to leave". But vikrant was only

saying one thing, "raj,...jhan...jhanviii, Raj she cant die. She cant leave me like this.

Raj ask her to come back. Ask her to wake up". Vikrant turned to jhanvi, " jhanvi please

get up. You cant do this to me, to abhi". Raj made vikrant stand and said, " vikrant jhanvi

is no more. And you have to leave this place". Suddenly airplane's door fell from back.

It scared raj even more. He continued," vikrant you have to live, and if you will stay here,

this inncident will also kill you. Come we have to leave". Raj tried to drag vikrant, but he

was adament on not leaving his wife. Raj said," come vikrant. Atleast for abhi. Please

vikrant". The name abhi, brought vikrant back to his senses. He realised he had to live for

his son. As vikrant abhi and raj were leaving, raj's feet got stuck in some wires. Vikrant moved

ahead, not realising that raj was left behind. Suddenly another unit of plane fell on raj.

Vikrant turned to see raj struggling. Raj was badly bruised, and injured. Vikrant tried to lift

the unit. But he was unable to. Raj knew his end time was near. He asked vikrant to leave.

Vikrant tried his best to save raj. But till then raj was dead. After some time, rescue team

took vikrant and abhi to hospital.

The flashback of this incident, still shook vikrant's wits. "Sarita is suffering because of me,

and now only i can make her life better. Only i can marry her. And now this is the right

option, for her and for abhi.". Vikrant decided that he had to marry sarita anyhow.

On the other hand, sarita was still confused about vikrant's behaviour. "He asked me for

marriage or he ordered me?? " ,Sarita questioned herself. Aarti came to her room and

asked, "what happened, why did bhaiyss leave like this??" sarita replied, " even i want

to know. What actually happened. It seemed like a business deal more than a marriage

proposal". Aarti replied," ohh bhaiyaa is like this. He likes to keep it short". Abhi came

and hugged sarita., "Aunty can i call you mumma now??" Abhi's eyes were full of hope.

She started remembering vikrant's words, how he promised her that he wont touch her,

and she unconciusly said, "yes beta". Aarti was overjoyed. Abhi and aarti hugged sarita.

Aarti told vandana and shiela about sarita's approval. She also called vikrant and told him

about shiela.

They got married in a week. Sarita kept raj's parcel securely in her only to open

when she was actually ready.

P.S okay, so i know it was quite rushed. But my version would focus more on their

marriage, so i only wanted to brief about the pre marriage plot. And yes the parcel.

This parcel is one time suprise by raj to sarita, and she will open only when she would be

ready.

Loved reading the adaption of the novel (It's one of my fav) I think even in the O.S parcel contains the letters Raj has written for Sarita that will help her to move ahead and make a fresh start. Will you show Raj and Vikrant as friends?
