The winds are strong and so his her inner turmoil. She has been so pre-occupied with Raj. And then she imagined Vikrant gazing at her. She feels needed ... She feels being pulled by a huge storm.. A storm that she wouldn't want to calm. She is sifting her thoughts. Is this okay... Is that right to be wanting to be seeked by Vikrant? Is she really wanting it because she is married to him, so rightfully only he should fulfill her needs?

Abhi has hugged her many times... The caress and love he showed upon her was unconditional... No strings attached...he just loved her... Just because! Nothing else to it. When she returned the favors to Abhi... It was the same... Not because of sense of duty. Only the sense of duty helped her discipline him. This relation made sense.

Slowly... Vikrant And raj were taking their spaces in her mind... Sifting her thoughts and carefully gauging her inner turmoil seeking peace. She recognized Raj was her duty in her first marriage. As he never looked at her nor courted her as a lady shall be. But tradition is what we try to bind ourselves in when everything else fails! So, she made him everything for her, even if he was stoic towards her. She was slowly recognizing that when her immense sense of duty finally worked its magic (10 years.. Long enough !) she had to marry Vikrant. Was it only Because of Sheila? 'NO'her mind screamed. She knew that if Sheila had to be fended for herself and Vikranthwas not in the picture... She would have still been with her through thick and thin. But it was Abhi ... For whose sake she agreed to marry. As now it has become a habit to play saviour. But being a savior to Abhi is more worthy. It is more of a being a mother... She feels reciprocated. The instant gratification she gets from Abhi makes her thrive! It has made her feel beautiful. Now being vikranth's wife was never a deal. So she never strived to be a dutiful wife.but every time he did something good for Abhi, he earned her respects! And he was also slowly and gradually courting her with his eyes. He was giving her everything that she never knew that she seeked. He respected her choices. He moved on as quickly as possible to accommodate her as his wife. Was it okay for him to move on so fast? Is that being fickle minded?? Or is that being a gentleman. She didn't want to assume anything. She just want to see the truth in its all glory. No manipulation of feelings. Nor for him nor for her... She wanted to see this relationship in its purest form. If she needs to be just Abhi's mom... Then so shall it be. She wouldn't want to play wifey wifey role. She would do what comes to her naturally. So... All that she did so far was very natural.she did not try to mesmerize mr.Vikranth. So, what is vikranth for her then? The storm has picked up.. The windows banging... Abhi is jolted in his sleep... She quickly goes to him and hugs him...very instinctively. This was it. The surge oflove towards him... The blind trust the kid has for her. This trust has given her everything... And this is what she has sensed in vikranth's eyes. When he courts her... He has showed this trust on her. Nothing was forced either. It was a natural thing. The hug she gave to Abhi... She could feel that this is how it will feel with vikranth...

She is feeling the storm calming down...she is feeling full... Contended... Relieved ... What??? Relieved ??but just couple of hours back vikranth confronted her.. He came to know about her plans to Dubai with raj. He looked very hurt. But he didn't shout at her. He told her to go. All he said was ... You should have told me.i would have let you go in much dignity. He told her that is was really beautiful to have her in his life. But what was not his... Can't be his. I think raj was right. Vibrant told her that for some reason he was not feeling angered at her... But truly there was immense pain because of her. He was unable to stop crying. When she moved closer to him, to hold him... He moved back... Sorry Sarita... I can't let you come closer to me... If you come any closer I cannot let you go. I do not want to stoop any lower than what I did already. He excused himself and left.

Sarita has been wondering since then.it is not that she has started all this drama with raj, so as to teach himalesson. But also, for her to move on in her life. But she wanted to really check with her innermost self. Keeping the traditions away and seeing what she really needs.

She got up and looked for vikranth in the guest room.she saw him lie down on the bed. He lay there like a baby...curled up. He seemed to have cried himself to bed. She couldn't stop her tears. She lied down next to him. She gently touched him...and placed a kiss on his right cheek. And then on his nose. Vikranth was reciprocating slowly... As if it was a dream. Slowly he opened his eyes... He saw Sarita hold him by her chest. And hug him like a baby . He slowly freed himself from her and looked at her. She also looked at him and cried inconsolably. He hushed her up and asked her to come closer to him. She told him in midst of her tears that she didn't plan on running away with raj.it was just a plan to make him believe until he was thought his lesson. Vikranth then asked her why didn't she tell him earlier about it when he had revealed it to her that he knew what she was doing? Sarita calmed herself down...and admits of her sobbing ... She told him how she was trying to figure out her feelings for vikrantand how she is madly in love with him and how she recognized what she had felt for raj and the way her mindisabsolutely clear.so she took the time to ensure that she is free from any kind of baggages. She continued to sob her heart out. Vikrant could hold any more. He smothered her with kisses. She was also showering him with kisses. Suddenly their lips touched. She felt the shivers . Vikranth looked at her with intensity.the surge of feeling of belonging to her filled him. He let her closer to his heart. Made her hear his heartbeat. She felt safe and sound. He respected her every touch. He reciprocated it with kisses. He could contain no longer. He asked her to be his forever. And she reciprocated by moving much closer... Leaving no gap. both of them were entwined... he kept on kissing her everywhere he could possible. finally as he inched down on her neck... she completely gave in to him...

It is very much ingrained in our society... And we think that is how it should be and if the husband or wife follows a different norm keeping their interests priority, it becomes a no-no. punar vivah of vikrant & sarita though started as a deal... but, I wanted to interpret sarita's decision in her marriage with vikranth to be based on her sole determination to move forward in life with a meaning and purpose and not succumb to a love-less to loved married life just because Raj finally decided to give her the attention she finally seeked.

My beleif is one should always make a honest commitment to what has been given to them in their life. Understanding that what we want is not always met by what we need. I liked how Vikrant handles Sarita without much abomination. He has been very honest since the begining about her being her his son's mom... but also promised her that he will do his best to move on with her. He has been a gentleman.

That is why in my FF I didn't make Vikranth a angry man.. I made him a self-respecting individual who behaved in a very logical manner and yet knew his feelings.

Since punar vivah of Sarita & Vikrant, I liked Sarita's confidence (sans her set-everything-right-for-raj attitude). I liked her reactions when Vikranth moves closer to her. She doesn't respond in a typical heroine-shy-eyes-flashing reactions. SHe is amused by vikranth's admiration... something she is genuinely reacting. May be the person playing teh character is not playing the typical heroine reactions either purposefully or hasn't been trained well... but what-so-ever, I think I would have reacted the same when I find a new found respect for myself in someone's eyes.

I liked Vikranth being always honest with his words... he is not being egoistic in any sense. Also he is taking it very slow in a good manner. As he mentioned withouut her permission he would not touch her. And she is going with the same space as if everyday she is honestly gauging her feelings and working with pure intention. My only take in this serial is sarita-set-everything-right-for-raj attitude. It is good that she is taking teh responsibility of being human and have been emotionally involved with him. But just say it plainly again and again and again if needed, but do not try to teach someone a lesson. We are not gods. we are very human... we can teach only by living in what we beleive in. If she lives a peacefful life with Abhi.. she can eventually make Raj realize his needs and move on. Well knowing the kind of family he comes from, it might be another ten years though!

I will eventually update this FF, describing how non-dysfunctional the family of Sarita & Vikranth is. I am new to this forum and might not be very active apart from updating this FF. The admin is more than welcome to fix this FF if it doesn't fit the norms of the forum.

Update #2:

But Vikranth smiled at him and told him that he wants to learn to make tea for his wife. Sanjay quickly smirked. Vikranth noticed his smirk and told him, "Sanjay - agar thum kisi ko bahut chahthe ho, tho thum unke liye kuch bhi kar sakthe ho. Mein apni patni ko bahut izzat kartha hun aur pyaar bhi. Mujhe thumhe ye batani ki jaroorath nahin hai lekin isliye bol raha rooh kyunki thum mujhe aisi harkathe karthe huye dekhoge tho baar baar mujhpe hasne ki bajaye thum meri madad karo.." he said firmly!

Sanjay quickly gives him instructions for the different kinds of tea (black tea, ginger tea, masala chai etc). Vikranth feels over-whelmed. And he asks him to teach black tea as that is more healthy.

He manages to make some tea and some toast and goes to Sarita.

He wakes her up with a kiss and offers her tea. She quickly wakes up and asks Vikranth why didn't he wake her up earlier and why did he have to take the pains of getting the tea. Vikranth hushes her up and says can we have some peaceful tea without your lectures please?

She smiles and obliges. both of them enjoy each other's company and Abhi joins them. He is happy to see his parents happy.

Vikranth & Sarita enjoy each others company and are venturing into the zones of likes & dis-likes like teenagers in love :) They are loving the new found love and are very peaceful in each other's company.

Vikranth's hearty laugh and Sarita's relaxed and less uptight nature reflected upon Abhi. He is more confident in school and is much happier kid. He came back home and showed off a trophy to mumma. He said that he participated in a ex-tempo competition.

His mumma was surprised at his new found enthusiasm! Vikranth was all the more happy! He asked his son what was the topic he spoke about. Abhi said he spoke about Love. The love he gets from his mumma! The love which everyone teases that she is his step mom and wouldn't care for him if she had her own baby! How he told everyone that his mumma is the best and will always love & care for him no matter what.

Sarita was over-whelmed at his gesture. She quickly hugs him and kisses him a hundred times. She says, "Abhi beta.. aapko kissi ko samjhane ki jarroorat nahin hain ki apki mumma aap se kitna pyaar karthi hain! AAp ke wajah se mujhe ek parivaar mila hain. Aapne apni mumma ko 'maa' bula ke ek nayi wajood diya hai, ek nayi duniya diya hai, EK NAYI UMEED DIYA HAI."

Abhi couldn't grasp what his mom was trying tell him, "mumma! yeh wajood kya hai?"

Saritha & Vikranth both said in togetherness: "HUMARA PARIVAR" and looked at each other very lovingly!
