Sarita sat there as tears rolled down her cheeks... she din know what she had made out of her life all these years... she lost her parents for someone who cared less for her... then eh changed and now she lost him for the girl who stood supportive for her... for his family...the love she waited for 10 years had dawned only to be snatched away.. and here she was again where there was a husband who hated her yet married her for his son... still thinks and waits to show her she is wrong... the dark tunnel of her life seemed too dark for even the slightest ray... but she was glad.. glad for dhivya and raj... she thanked god... in a way had vik not married her she might have betrayed dhivya...but what does life have for her now... she burried her hands into her face letting the tears flow...
mummmaaa" came the voice as vikrant saw his son abhi running to his mother...
sarita quickly wiped her tears curving her lips into a bright smile " abhii beta... mumma is here only " she giggled as little abhi threw himself on her...
vikrant stood there motionless drained... she was crying and now the minute she saw his son... only a mother can do that...she was right... he had been proved wrong... so wrong that he hated himself... he was so lost in his son that he failed to understand the feelings of a girl,,, trying to be a father he failed being a human... she had told him... told him a million times but hatred had overshadowed the love... the first tear made its way down as he clenched his fists in guilt seeing her cry...
he turned to find her laughing as abhi asked " mumma... are you crying" the innocent kid asked seeing her teary eyes
" no abhiii... something fell into my eyes" she hid yet again
" abhi moved her hand " wait mumma i will blow for you" saying he slowly blowed into his mothers eyes trying to free her from the pain...
that minute sarita knew... this was her destiny... her son.. her abhi... a person who loved her and cared for and above all a person for whom her presence was the priority... god might have played with her... but in the end she is now a maa... a feeling of divine ... this love would give the meaning to her life... she hugged abhi trailing kisses all over her face as she carried him inside making him laugh and so did she...
Vikrant's lips had curved into a smile even before he could realize and this time too her words.. their awkward embraces .. everything came to his mind... but he dint brush away his thoughts this time but instead he let them take over and walked out with a smile reaching for his car keys!!
it was almost evening and sarita was running around the house playing with abhiii...
she ran too quick straight out of the door following him and crashed on vikrant pushing his to the floor with her on top
vikrant landed with a thud on his back ...
abhi turned hearing the sound to find his parents on top of each other looking at each other...
he walked closer and crunched down " mummy daddy... you are doing friendship hug on the floor " he asked innocently snapping them out of their gaze as sarita and got up and slowly helped vkrant with abhi laughing...
Stop laughing " he roared as they both hid their chuckles and he sat catching his hips on the sofa...
sarita walked in to get some pain relief spray as abhi looked at his frowning father " daddyyy mummy was right" abhi said
" what di your mumma say now " he retorted
" see both of u fell... mummy is stronger as always " he supported his mumma
" thats coz your mumma fell on me " he whispered sulking to the mummy's boy
as sarita walked out " haan beta... your daddy is very weak...
to her surprise vikrant dint retort and walked inside thanking her and taking the spray from her hands...
She stared at her son who pouted his lips just like her and she smiled and walked in carrying him into their room!!
Vikrant was busy in his Ipad as usual as she went on with her story telling putting abhi to sleep...
she slowly pulled the blanket over closing her eyes and in minutes vikrant took his side of the bed closing his eyes...
she lay that side eyes closed yet battling with sleeps with million worries hitting her head ...
it was 3 .00 am when vikrant stirred in his sleep.. she was sleeping her back facing him and he heard some sobs through the blanket...
his heart pricked for having put her in this state... whatever he does she had always been double loving to abhi never letting her worries in front of him... and here he was... except being rude to her and pricking on ehr for every damn reason... he had even heard vandhana and kajri taunting her this morning...
he slowly got up and hearing his moves she shut her eyes pretending to sleep... he put on the ngiht light and slowly tip toed to her side and sat by his knees lookign at her.. her eyes were closed but tears were slowing fresh...
after sometime expecting him to have slept she opene dhe reyes only to meet his smirking face and she blinked as he wiped a tear tossing it on her face
she sat up alarmed and before she could scream he closed her mouth with his hands as their gazes met yet again...
SSSHHH" he whispered with his other hand in his mouth and pulled her out taking her out of the room after checking the little devil was asleep as ever!
