Vikrant walked in loosing his tie as he heard the sound of laughter in his usual quiet home hit his ears...
well he was slowly getting used to this .. its been happening ever since she had walked into their lives... but something had always stopped him from being a part of it...
he tip toed quietly to see abhi hugging sarita from behind his arms wound around her neck and laughing hard as she kept cracking jokes and rocking him away!
if a stranger had seen they would not guess she was not abhi's real mother...
He remembered his taunts on her about how she was betraying him and his son.. but was she really?? his heart asked his mind!!
her words came striking down his ears" a wife may hurt but never a mother "... in his anger he had brushed the truth in it but seeing them now somewhere he felt he was missing some puzzle...
just as he stood watching them the door bell rang and sarita turned to find vikrant still staring at them...
his gaze narrowed to meet hers as she walked forward... he had frzen and she moved this side as he did the same and she tried the other when he played again... she looked at him surprised when he moved aside smiling at her giving her way
She was suprised to see the visitor" divyaaa
divya stood up giving a warm hug to sarita as vikrant and abhi walked out
after a few greetings vikrant and abhi left to their room leaving the 2 friends to talk
sarita " dhivyaaa... we will talk in the lawn hey na...
she nodded as both left...
" how are you sarita " divya asked a smile lingering on her face as sarita smiled mischievously raising her eyebrows" whats the matter.. u look so happy
" thanks sarita she said hugging her again
" harey! first tell me the reason" sarita teased
" our plan worked.. last night raj broke down... he realized his mistake.. he even apologized... full night he was talking to me... he told me himslef that he had planned to leave with you and how much eh regrets it..." divya said smile and excitement evident on her face
" sach... i am so happy to hear this divya... if you and rajji are happy thats all i wanted..." saying she hugged dhivya as sarita's mobile rang " RAJJI"
dhivya asked her to pick the call... sarita knew she was going to be blasted with words of hate as expected and she lifted the call her hands trembling!
Saritaji " rak spoke soft and same as before implanting the fear in her
ji rajji " sarita replied
" don worry.. i am not gonna elope with you or blast you " raj spoke suprising her
" forgive me saritaji...for everything.. i don even know if i deserve to talk to you.. but still for everything... for foolishly wasting ur 10 years and even torturing you after ur punar viavh... i though vikrant forced you and you were not happy with him... and that too again because of my family you had to suffer.. tahts why my guilt and love together made me behave like that to you" he spoke bitterness and shame in his voice
dhivya smiled faintly as sarita had tears rolling down her cheeks ...
" even after that you have taken care of me saritaji.. i am always happy with my best friend chotu... how smart you became and what a plan " he teased as she laughed a little...
i am sorry rajji ... i din " sarita defended as raj laughed it off and she smiled as well as dhivya held her hand assuring her
" rajji you could have come with dhivya na" sarita asked
i will.. the day i am married to her... and the day you become Mrs Suryavanshi from abhi's maa... i will that day sarita ji... but do come for my wedding.. it wont happen without my chotu " raj reminded her as he cut the call...

sarita smield" dhivyaaa... i am happy even now... haan its true hes a akdoo... and there is no love etc etc... but i am assured hes accepted me as abhi's maa... and you knwo dhivya more than the 10 years and after that... ten all confusion i am really happy as abhi's maa... if rajji and sheela was my helplessness to get married to him abhi was his helplessness... we ae both the same... and i have no complaints now... coz in the few days i am here... i knew taht there is a human behind the hard face of VIKRANT SURYAVANSHI.. it was not the cunnign buisnessman who made a deal with me but a helpless father who loved his son!
i am really happy dhivya sarita assured her as dhivya smiled and left...
sarita finally let her tears flow as she sat on the bench...
unknown to her behind the pillar tears flew down the cheeks of another man " VIKRANT SURYAVANSHI "
