If I were Sarita...

Now if I were Sarita - yes I would have done exactly the same thing ... You know peeking to see what was going on between Divya and Raj... 😳 Yah I know it's not the done thing... But Raj is my husband and I do care for him... For us...

However, after hearing that both Divya and Raj love each other ... I would with a breaking heart have let go of Raj. Not because I do not have the strength to fight for my love or to protect the sanctity of my marriage ... but because I could never separate two persons who love each other... Who have loved each other over the years... Marriage is sacred, not to be taken lightly but a marriage is not a marriage when both parties or one party has no interest nor make the effort to to make the marriage work.

I may love my husband forever but if his heart yearns for another and if his love has stayed intact all these years ... I would not have the heart to force him to love me. I do not believe in separating true love.

But the crux of the situation is whether Divya and Raj are stuck in the past. In the 10 years Divya has matured been exposed to many things has grown ... Likewise Raj... But he appears to be more trapped in the past than Divya. He never gave himself the chance to grow... Would he be disillusioned by the changed Divya... or would their love be able to withstand the changes...

So If Sarita truly loves Raj she would let him go... But she should also be truthful and tell him "I love you and because I love you I understand your love for Divya... I cannot separate you. But I will always be your friend..."

HE WAIT FOR 10 YEARS AND DIVYA TOO

HOPE SARITA WILL THINK THIS RAJ WORRY FOR HER BUT DONT LOVE HER

Frankly, most of us would not be in Sarita's place. Whether you go for love marriage or an arranged one, you would talk to your would be husband multiple times and know him to a good extent before marriage. So figuring out that he's not interested would never happen to most of us - I don't know which world these characters belong to. And by any quirk of fate, if it would have happened to me, I would have been out of Raj's madhouse in a jiffy after giving everyone (including Raj) a piece of my mind and there would be no entertaining story 😆. But that is because I (and most of us) have grown up as confident, secure individuals. I cannot fathom what kind of person I would be if my upbringing, education and value system were any different. Maybe I too would have reacted like Sarita, you never know, had I believed that the sanctity of marriage is above everything else (including emotional well-being of the partners).

I can understand if it was just a couple of years but this is 10 years. If you can live with such a man under such conditions for 10 years - I think you can continue to live that way forever!! For Sarita to suddenly feel unbearable after 10 years is very unrealistic.

Also even if you strike out on your own like Divya did... And if you love that person... You will keep in touch within days or weeks or even months... But to wait 10 years without keeping in touch is unrealistic... And to expect the person to wait for you without being in touch is beyond comprehension. Don't we all have our doubts now and again with a loved one. Let me see a show of hands anyone who never had a doubt or a bout of jealousy over your loved one... Let me see a show of hands anyone who did not a twinge of insecurity with your loved one...

Surely that doubt or feeling of insecurity would drive you to contact your loved one. Ok you will at least contact because you miss the person.

And further only a mad woman will seek help from an ex girlfriend of her husband to save a failing marriage!!!!

A very unrealistic storyline indeed!!!!!
