I posted this in a thread already, but I'll post it again here, because I want to voice my opinion here as well.
I stopped watching after Friday's episode. It no longer has my interest. Srishty is a good actress, the characterization isn't as horrible as other daily soaps, it's actually better compared to many of them, but after being exposed to other masterpieces by the Mittal's (PV1 and DABH), I don't think I can ever be satisfied with this show anymore.
I'll be honest - I can't stand KVG's acting and Rubina hasn't impressed me at all.
Storyline wise, it's starting to get completely unrealistic where Divya has to live with Raj-Sarita, being the other woman in their life?
Divya has been nothing but selfish in my eyes - first she leaves Raj. Yes it was for her family, but she left him hanging AND expected him to wait for her after 10 years. I don't know whether to call her delusional or something else, but that's what she is. Next, she plays with Gaurav's feelings, by literally walking away from the mandap just as they were about to start their wedding vows and lets him take the blame for all of it. Wow, what selflessness right?
Sarita is slowly falling in my eyes too (although Srishty is doing justice to her role). She's tolerated this crap for 10 years, and now she has the guts to ask her husband's ex love to come back and fix her problems? If I were her, I would have walked out of this relationship years ago. Any sensible person would. I understand she is traumatized and loves Raj and what not, but come on, you'd actually trust his first love to come and set things right between you two? If anything, Raj will just fall even deeper for Divya once he finds out.
Raj, what in the world is wrong with this man? He can't say a word to his wife in ten years? He doesn't have any emotional attachment towards her? She's been sleeping on the floor of his room for the past ten years? What the heck. First of all, it's completely unrealistic for them to have not consummated in this time period... it's human nature to have urges and Sarita isn't someone hideous that any man would want to stay away from. She's been living under his roof, even trying to seduce him but it hasn't impacted him at all? Unrealistic and completely bogus!!! He can't even be civil towards her. He will never get my sympathy.
Gaurav, what is wrong with him? In the name of love (after seeing someone for what, 2 - 3 days), he's already trying to make himself look like a cruel man in front of the media? He's breaking his mother's heart, he's hurting his family for Divya? A girl he just met? I have zero sympathy for him too.
In the end, none of the character's are getting my sympathy anymore. If anything, Sarita gets it, but even then I'm highly unsatisfied with the story. I don't even care about who ends up with whom anymore. I'm done with this show for now, and I don't think I'll be returning to it.
I'm a big fan of the Mittal's other shows, but this one has been a HUGE let down. I won't blame the Mittal's because I'm confident that Zee TV has told them to do this, which is why Zee TV has cast two well known Zee TV faces for this show. The PH ended PV1 so PV1 wouldn't have to turn out into an Ekta kind of show with multiple leaps and loss of storyline. This show was only to satisfy the channel, I'm very confident about it. We've also heard of the same happening for HHSJH now. Zee is apparently making it come with a season 2 too. In the end, it is business for both the Mittal's and ZeeTV, both of which need a source of income, so I won't "hate" on them, they need to live too. I understand their position, but this show no longer has my interest.
