People may argue that such things happen (I am referring to the crap in Raj's family). But, these channels and production houses need a BIG DOSE of REALITY. What age are we living in?

Eventually, they'll reform this so called excuse of a human being, babuji. But, till then what message is this show conveying passively?

I cringed like anything when they revealed that old man's second lady or whatever.

The family is highly dysfunctional and not even worth being part of a civilized society. What kind of Indian families does this ridiculous family represents?

Nothing in this show is realistic.

Mittals destroyed a well-made show PV1 that had an excellent star cast. I am not in favor of stretching a show. But, they destroyed PV1 in its very first year itself. PV1 had an EXCELLENT EXCELLENT star case right from the leads to every single supporting character.

And, then mittals churned out this crap PV2. I am so done with this show already.

In my POV this story was not meant for PV 2.When Zee told them to wrap up PV 1 and come with a different storyline as PV 2 they just modified this story and named it PVENU.THe story was written in a hast. But If they would have named it something different and sticked to original which they had written then i think the show would have been great.

About the star cast, like PV 1 this show has a very good cast. All the actors playing major roles are doing decent jobs.

I have to agree with you Mohini. The reason for PV is petty. The story is very predictable.
We know that Sarita will try very hard to keep Divya away from Raj but "fate" will have them in contact despite Sarita's protest. Eventually Sarita will give up Raj and he will have his PV with Divya.
Meanwhile, to save some family honour, Sarita will marry Gaurav, another one of Divya's ardent lover. Poor Sarita will end up with the shitty end of the stick.
For me the real PV will be someone completely unattached to Divya falling in love with Sarita. That person will show Sarita that she deserves love.

I think from the very beginning they wanted to and have been saying the concept is about the Punar vivah of an arranged marriage meaning Sarita & Raj's PV -- I don't think the concept is wrong/ bad or unbelievable but the way they are showing is neither interesting or believable.

For one thing we or should say I as Rubina's fan would have liked Rubina to be the estraged wife and then show how she is able to win over her husband's love and get married again for real . O.K even if they Chose to go the current route with Rubina/ Divya as the past love. Divya 's character is not being developed well -- can accept that she is a self sacrificing lady from the beginning and after 10 years of Choti bahu years has become more so. But they can still show her inner turmoil. Sadness for her past love and how she needs to forget that and help this lady. In 1 episode they show. she is so much in love with Raj and thinks he is waiting for her since lat 10 years and from the next episode onwards she's shown to forget him totally does not even think or feel anything about Raj and is only thinking of Sarita . And that too waits till the fera to decide that she want to help Sarita --- could have done that after haldi ---called her family and Gaurav and talked through the plans . In what capacity did she think she will go to RAj's house and stay there and motivate Raj to love his wife ----- totally unbelievable concept and situation!!! --- Hence the reason for audience is not able to relate to the storey or Divya's character .

Getting married ( and not consummating like Sarita for Sarita's sake ) would have helped the situation better than not getting married . Or they should have shown that she stopped her wedding because in heart of hearts she feels there may be still a chance for Raj and Divya ( that shows some selfish and realistic human trait ) and not unbelievable change of heart in a single day.

I can't understand what's CV's plan to change Raj 's heart or mind set and then show PV of Raj and Sarita and if it's not RAJ and Sarita PV they should show Divya to have some feelings for Raj and not cold hearted person who thinks she is mahan and she only can persuade Raj to accept Sarita and for that she needs to be single ( I know that was Sarita's demand but Sarita was saying all those words in rage and wasn't thinking that there's more risk if Divya stays un- married

Good points Premvahini. Gaurav is very sensible in telling her that she will not be able to convince him to love Sarita. Just the fact that Divya did not get married will be a plus for Divya.
A realistic plot would be her actually marrying Gaurav so that Raj knows she is no longer available.
It's not really a Punar vivaah story to me, more of ex-lovers reconciling their differences and making up.
I can't see what was selfless about Divya walking off on the mandap itself and allowing Gaurav to take all the blame on himself for breaking the wedding. Had she really wanted to help Sarita, she would have called off the wedding before. I said it before and will say again, Divya just wanted an excuse to not go through with wedding and Sarita calling provided her with one.
I am only a fan of Karan Grover and not the two ladies. I started watching the show for him but sad to say that the story is just not interesting to keep me watching for much longer.

Although I happen to be of the opinion that PV1 ended when it needed to end, I do agree that this story is seriously lacking in many departments. I would have preferred if the PV was really for Raj-Sarita but its going to be the same old saga of love & sacrifice.
The whole setup is very unrealistic, Raj has no right to moon over his lost love for 10 long years and in the bargain destroy Sarita's life. At the same time I find it difficult to comprehend Sarita's behaviour too.I agree with many of you that it will be unfair if/when Divya-Raj get together despite Sarita's best efforts and Sarita has to settle for Divya's left-overs once again.

I really couldn't agree with you more . Almost everyone says that they are watching the show for its popular actors . That was exactly the Mittals intent . They use big name to peddle this crappy show . Raj isn't a hero , he is a zero .

I agree I am very disappointed with this show...I honestly can't even like any of the characters...how can raj be fine with his mother no matter how horrible live in that house while his father has his mistress...the character of yash would never agree with something like that...he had great values...he appreciated that aarti did a lot for his kids so he gave equal love to ansh...Sarita has been doing so much for his family and him but raj can't even appreciate it...

I don't even understand divya...if she can leave raj for her family then she can do that again...she needs to have her priorities straight...from what I have seen her siblings are very very dependant on her to this day...and I doubt that will change...

Sarita is also wrong for staying in this kind of marriage...she should have divorced raj Long time ago...and lastly this story is just morally wrong...I don't care but at the end of the day raj is still married and divya is engaged to someone else...so showing their romance is just wrong...they should break their relationships first and then carry on their love...

i agreed with TM and others ,i not fan of any lead actors just watch the show for mittals ,look like mittals running show for the sake of zee nt for their own interest, elegant concept but nothing do with punar vivath
if Raj married Divya ,that's not real punar vivath ,that should be he regain his past love ,
Sarita's role bit alright, but i cant say its flawless story , anyway give some time for story pick up
