Nice sense of humour :))
At least feel relief after seeing such a story .I don't know how can one write such tracks.
I don'tknow what they trying to show. Now am not supporting Divya at all. Initially she left Raj .I whole-heartedly accepted but now Gaurav. I know she is feeling guilty ,I agree. But Why she is asking permission from sarita to make understand raj that is the most illogical thing for me. I mean if sarita had not called then she would have married and wen with gaurav .And raj - then she didn't feel the need to make him understand and have a closure ,to give him some peace or relief. I'm not supporting Raj fully,I'm not saying that he is fully right.I'm just saying from Divya's POV. Shouldn't she have gone to talk to him even after haldi ceremony when she got to know that he is still living in the past moments and is in pain.
But what i actually think is story is being written ,every dialogue every part just according to sarita's POV .Just sarita's story . I have lost all the interest .Just reading the WU , am feeling angry .How can Divya leave marriage in between for sarita .Just thinking about sarita and sarita : after that haldi ceremony ,during mehendi ,during getting ready ,during marriage .so pathetic .Not once she thought about Raj how he is.Does she love raj or saita ?? Seriosly get Divya married to Sarita .A great PV it will be , Long lasting.
EDIT : sorry Angie!! I lashed out my irritation in your post .
Ekta, no problem with your lashing out. I no longer get irritated at soaps after my last experience with Hindi soaps or maybe Misti/Myra's attitude has rubbed on me. This is going to be nature of the soaps to exaggerate characters.
I understand to an extent that Divya is feeling guilty. She has been shown to be a generous person who puts others before her. Everything is happening too soon for her. She came back to Bhopal after putting her life on hold for 10 years only to have her illusions broken. Then she gets engaged to make her family feel better, but is being pressured to marry within a week even though she is not ready in her heart. Then she finds out that her idol Raj for whom she has intense love, gratitude and respect has stopped in his life and has actually destroyed his life. Then soon after she is confronted by his wife who puts all the blame for everything gone wrong in her life on Divya. So there is no time for Divya to process her feelings and there is nobody to confide.
Gaurav is the one who is slowly becoming her confidant because he has shown her so much understanding so far. In some sense, she has also started trusting him because he has shown her that he has a lot of love and patience where she is concerned.
Divya is a very impulsive person who makes instant judgments and takes instant actions. She thinks she knows Raj very well, but she misjudged his hurt when she left him. She is not ready for marriage, but is desperately trying to move on. Also, more than likely she is going for Raj only because she want him to be happy in his life and with his choices.
The problem is the way they are executing the story where in order to make one Sarita extremely sympathetic to audience, they have neglected to show Divya and Raj's viewpoint. For example, they are showing Sarita's pain and they showed her pain at seeing Raj like this. But they only showed a minute of broken Divya when she realized that Raj stopped somewhere in his life. Since meeting with Sarita, they are not showing her pain that he too waited for her in a way (however convoluted) for 10 years. They are so obsessed with their theme of a girl helping her lover's spouse and making her lover fall for the spouse, they are in process making Divya come across as an unreasonable character.
So far everything is in precap. But I will make my judgment in how they show Divya today with Gaurav. Does she apologize to him and make him understand her actions? I just hope they concentrate on Divya today rather than only drama. I want to see emotions of these three characters - Raj, Gaurav and Divya. So far in three weeks, they have only concentrated on showing emotions of Sarita. But my sympathy for her is getting shorter and shorter as instead of a character who has been wronged (and she has been), she is coming across as a clingy, selfish character to me.
