I feel really bad for him. He was big hearted enough to not hold Divya's past against her. Moreover, he has been very level-headed and matured in the way he has handled Divya's slip of tongue or her tears for Raj.
Today the way Divya dumped him on the altar before the entire city crowd (maybe media people as well, as she is a celebrity) - that defies logic and is very cruel to him. I just don't get it - why do leads behave as if they completely lack common sense. Divya is not a bad person - to the contrary she has been shown to be very responsible and generous. How can she do that to a person who has been so nice and accommodating. If she doesn't want to marry him for her own or Sarita's sake, that's fine. But why subject him to public ridicule? What has he ever done to deserve this?Does this mean one should never ever fall for any person who has a past? Sarita has suffered for 10 years and it's Gaurav's turn next? Does having suffered a failed relationship (for whatever reasons) automatically entitles one to become so self-centered that they can't see the obvious?
Liked your post , i was also thinking the same . it does not go with Divya,s character that she will dump a person without giving any explanations , left all of them to face the insults . All of a sudden her character was changed to callous person , one who was responsible , honest and caring . I liked gaurav,s character who is honest , caring , and trusted in Divya,s trust ..You never know Hindi shows , TRP rules and so brings illogical turns .
ME TOO IF SHE WANT TO HELP SARITA WHY SHE HAVE TO MARRIED SHE CAN TELL GAURAV SHE DONT WANT TO MARRIED I DONT NO WHY SHE FILL GUILTY FOR SARITA NOW I NO MAY BE GAURAV WILL BE NEGATIV BECAUSE HE SAY HE LOVE DIVYA THE FRIST TIME HE SAW HER AND DIVYA DUMP HIS SO LET SEE WHAT IS NEXT
agree with u angie diRuchi,
This is one trait of sacrificing people (mahaan ones) especially in Hindi soaps. They choose one person for whom they do sacrifices after sacrifices. Usually, it is not the hero, but hero's mother or one's family if the main lead is adopted. Here Divya has picked up Sarita whom she has given assurance that she would never break her trust. So it is going to be one test after another. If some are sacrificed on the alter for this, then so be it.On a serious note, Gaurav is the one who deserves the maximum sympathy. But he made a mistake of getting married (so soon) even after knowing that Divya still has not gotten over Raj. He needed to wait to see if this relationship is going to work when other person's heart is not in it. Unfortunately, he is so infatuated with Divya that he wants to make her his. So he is bound to get hurt. I do hope that Divya is given a reality check by both Raj and Gaurav when they find out her intentions. At this time, she is wallowing in so much self-guilt induced by Sarita that she is not thinking straight. It is not her fault that Raj and Sarita are married to each other. She was in Raj's life prior to Sarita. She can feel responsible for Raj's condition where she didn't realize the hurt she caused him. Her fault was not in keeping touch with him. So she needs to provide him some closure. But it is not her responsibility to fix someone's marriage. Of course since her decision to leave this marriage is for Sarita, she is doing wrong to so many people - Gaurav and his family and to some extent even her siblings who are bewildered at her behavior. She should been upfront about this from the very beginning.I don't feel that sad for Gaurav's mother because for her, Divya is just an object to be shown off. She rarely calls her Divya. It is always CB. But Gaurav is the big loser in all this mess. Of course, he is going into this relationship with open eyes. But still there has to be a limit to somethings.

Me too. Well the whole premise is unrealistic - now Gaurav truly belongs to the mix. 😊Originally posted by: seema12345
