In all this who is the real heroin, I thought that Raj and Divya were going to be the main characters, but now it seems like it might be Raj and Sarita.

Angie , you have very well analyzed the all characters . Just waiting to see what incoming episodes bring . As for now nothing has been shown about Sarila,s family , Why Raj came back ? what happened when Sarita came to know about the truth ,just moments before her marriage ? what made her secure that she happily waiting for Raj on her wedding night ?
Totally agree with you Its the TRP which rules the show and twists are brought in . this channel is in hurry , does not let story grow . I liked your last line , as recently i was readoing somewhere that what will happen if Dev appeared in PV 2 , i am sure Divya will run fast leaving Raj & co. straight in to Dev,s arm . .Poor girl ,came with dreams but all shattered

poor divya...

why cant sarita leave raj if she is not happy with the marriage. instead she is seeking divya's help to reform her marriage.

on the other hand , we dint know wat raj has been through all these years but yet remained loyal to his love but that cant justify him for wat he has done to sarita. he has spoiled a girl's life who had high hopes about her married life. 10 years is not a small thing.

Yes, there is sympathy for all characters - Sarita and Divya for obvious reasons. Gaurav too because he is getting into a relationship with a person who is still caught up in her past. As messed up as Raj is, I still felt sympathy for him yesterday because his illusions too have broken. He also thought that Divya would wait for him for ever and come back to him. Now he is thinking that Divya betrayed him once again and is getting married to someone who is her equal in success.

But yes, I was shaking my head at his thought process. He has a wife and he is thinking of Divya coming back to him. There was not a single thought in his mind about what would he have done with Sarita if Divya had come back to him. Also it seems that he was waiting for Sarita to leave him. So was he thinking that Sarita would automatically leave him if Divya comes back to his life.

I agree that they need to show something of Raj - his relationship with the father and how he finally agreed to marry Sarita, his story with Divya and so on. I think they probably will start more of him when Divya goes to his house.

Myra, yes my reference was from Forrest Gump. I think they are depicting Gaurav realistically. He did accept Divya with a open mind knowing that she is only marrying him because the person whom she loved for 10 years married someone else. But he was still expecting her to start loving him one day. Now there have been three incidents that has shaken him up. Initially, Raj was just a name for him until he saw him in person and saw how Divya was broken up about him. Then Raj came to his house and told him bluntly that he is the one who has given Divya to him (Gaurav) by backing down and not making any demands of Divya. So he started getting insecure and then finally seeing that Divya still has not gotten over Raj made him insecure. He is rational enough to know that Divya would not be in love with him at that time. He did accept it too at the end.

But you are right that still water runs deep. He was hurt about Raj and Divya's connection. So it is a good thing for him too that Divya confronts her past and postpones this wedding. He has to figure out whether he would be able to take Raj being present in their relationship. Sarita has got damaged in ignoring that fact and he may end up being damaged too if Divya cannot get over her past.

As far as Sarita is concerned, I don't find her bad at all. It is possible that she fell for Raj before marriage based on her young dreams. It did seem from yesterday that she didn't walk out on him because deep down she was scared that he wouldn't stop her. That's what happened yesterday. Divya coming back to this city has been a trigger point for all of them as all 3 were stuck in some time zone.

Of course, that's why my suggestion as many from forum would not mind Divya leaving all three if certain somebody makes a cameo and take her away at the end.😆
