Wow, I love the depth in Sarita and Divya's character's. They aren't the typical perfect bahu's who will act mahaan in front of other's. Sarita has craved her husband's love for 10 long years and she is very bitter due to that. Her behaviour towards her MIL and family is refreshing to see. She's someone who will not tolerate crap for any reason. A very, very refreshing and realistic character!

Divya's character is also very realistic, but unfortunately she's blinded with love. Her eyes are so clouded that she cannot think past Raj. Her thoughts are all about how that "horrible" girl landed with him? Not one thought towards the "horrible" girl and why she behaved that way. In fact, she didn't even realize that the MIL was clearly taunting and verbally abusing her. Of course, why should she? Her Raj's mother is going to perfect because she's always dreamed of being her bahu. Note the sarcasm.

But in reality, this is how a lot of girls behave when they're in love or are infatuated with someone. They feel like everything about them and their relationship is perfect. Little do they realize that time does not wait for them, and today Divya seemed to have realized that.

I'm more eager to see how the story moves forward now! I'm loving the storyline...

Great acting by both ladies and the rest of the cast members! Today was Sarita's episode in my opinion! 😊

Oh one more thing - did anyone get a foreshadowing vibe when Divya said in her flashback that she would kill the other girl, Raj, and then herself? Hmm... it makes you wonder.

Ah! Saffi! 🤗

It's nice to see you here! 😊

And OMG!!! I was thoroughly impressed with Sarita today!! 👏 👏 I totally agree that today's episode belonged to her: from being a disgusted and fed up daughter-in-law to a hopeful wife - she was superb and realistic! 👏

It was refreshing to see such a strong-willed woman in a serial where in the serial world people expect docile and coy women. The Mittals have changed that stereotype with Sarita and I'm happy. 😃

I especially loved that line where she countered the odious mother-in-law and said that the daughter-in-law she desires only happens in TV and that real life is never as such! And that is absolutely true!

Divya is indeed blind by love, she's disturbed at Sarita's behaviour but I'm sure that if she was in Sarita's shoes, she would have reacted the same, despite any sanskaars and respect!

Another thing I especially loved about today's episode and I commend the Mittals for it! That bold scene of Sarita donning a sari without a blouse! 😲 I'm not sure if that was shown in a serial before, but it's the first time I'm seeing it and I was bowled over by the scene! 👏

As it is - only Sarita has impressed me thus far, Divya is getting there and Raj has a long way to go.

Regarding your note about the impending future predictment - that's true and a point to be noted but another thing I would like to point out was that despite being hurt by the truth, Divya was ready to "save" Sarita from her mother-in-law's manhandling! 😉 So it can also be shown that these two women can actually become each other's saviour and guide. 😊

Very gud thoughts
Yes indeed it is sarita's episode. She protected herself from Her MIL in reality that what is actually expected to happen on,y in serial they show that they just sit quite and listen. They really showed the reality.

As fas as the love of divya's yes she is blinded by love. She can only think what raj must be feeling staying with such a wife but she doesn't know why that wife has turned like that. Still she went to save sarita's from her MIL i liked it a lot.
Well the flashback where divya's was possessive about raj I simply loved it it was so gud I mean if I were in her shoe at that point I would have done the same.
Overall luved that the mittals have showed some reality in the show. But it was really sad for me to see divya/ ruby cry

Agreed! 👏 I loved the way reality was incorporated very well! 😳

@Bold - You highlighted something important there! At that point, 10 years earlier, Divya would have done that. She was less mature then and was head over heels infatuated with a new love, but the question is, will she still do the same now? 10 years and loads of experience later?

Quite honestly, if Divya does something like that, I would be pissed because for a girl who has become more mature and modernize to do something like that is really stupid. So let's see what happens.

Guys we are having sympathy for Sarita as according to articles she is gud but if we ignore those articles and just look at Sarita from day 1 of the show...i feel that maybe Sarita might be negative in approach...i mean come on if someone had slipped and is onthe floor and even if he/sheis rude but is our elder...we will help...Maana kamla is also rude but maybe there had been a reason for that...And if Raj is like what he is now that does nt mean Divya willbe held responsible for it...If Raj was missing Divya so much then he also could have gone to her 2hats the mistake of Divya in Raj being rude to Sarita...And Divya was nt wrong forming negative opinion for Sarita as it was Sarita who started the fight by banging the plate on the table...and only after that kamla started her taunts ...kamla even didn't said anything about sarita before she came with tea nd dashed the plate

Lovely post...

I think Sarita may have gotten bad after being neglected by her husband as in the first few episodes she was dreaming of a loving family and husband...

What she is ---is the outcome of her circumstance as first few episodes she was nice...

Nice take dear.

Yes, Sarita bowled me over too. Her character superseded my expectations. In the first two episodes, her frustration was shown through mannerisms only, but in yesterday's episode, she blasted out in front of her MIL like anything! This clearly shows the level of her frustration in staying with this dysfunctional family. At first she didn't lash out her anger, despite being insulted in front of her Divya, because she was aware of guests being in house...but her utter patience reached a testing point when the MIL started almost manhandling her.

She is just like any normal girl...anyone would behave like this only when put in such trying situations!! She was correct to point out to her MIL that despite all these tough conditions only tv bahus can do "Jee Maaji" in front of such a irritating MIL!! Also one thing is she knew that these people have got her married to their son for money...and also boldly challenged her MIL that if she has guts then to throw her out of the family! MIL had to shut her mouth!! Whoa!! Sarita was just awesome in both the scenes she had to do. In both the episodes, she was screaming her lungs out...not because she was mad but because she was provoked to do so! I am not still very sure as to why she is staying in this mad house though!?? It was completely refreshing to see her shouting...rather than being a coy and docile bahu (as always shown in TV!)

Coming to Divya. She is possessive about Raj. And its clearly being expressed by her. The entire Saas- Bahu scenario took right in front of her. At first, She witnessed how Raj's mother was cursing and calling all names to a particular 'Sarita' and cringed at that. And then she was shocked to finally face the most dreadful truth of her life...her face paled and breath stuck when she came to know that Raj got married! Her Raj got married!! Then started the game of cursing-shouting game of MIL. However, instead of being a coy and docile bahu, Sarita lashed out in return, much to Divya's surprise.

However, i would like to point out one thing here...Divya was heartbroken at this moment, and despite knowing that MIL was at fault, she only found fault only with Raj's wife. Not the lady Sarita -- but Raj's wife! It pained her, hurt her, slashed her heart to know that some other lady was her Raj's wife now, that he must be loving that lady now, would have shared his 10 years with that lady now. In my opinion, Divya felt jealous and hurt of Sarita and hence only found faults with her and not the MIL, though her sane brain must have noted that MIL was also at fault. I don't think she negated/ ignored all of Kamla's abusive rants because she was Raj's mother...she felt uncomfortable with that in the initial moments...however, her heart was only trying to find faults with Sarita. That's the reason when she came back home and spoke to her family, she had only negative things to say abt Sarita...she didn't even mention Kamla because her heart was only thinking how Sarita had taken her place in Raj's life! She found fault with every single thing of Sarita -- the way she spoke, the manner in which wore her saree everything, the manner of her make up! Every single thing of Sarita poked her! Moreover, Sarita's backlash gave her even more reasons to point fingers at her! Not because she didn't realize that MIL was the one to push Sarita but because Sarita was her Raj's wife. Her brother pointed it out very well! ANd she accepted at last, that she was angry that Raj moved ahead in his life. The flashback scene only went on to show how possesive she was abt Raj. For such a girl, to accept Raj's wife was simply very difficult.

Yes, Divya was wrong too. She should not have left him without giving any sort of hope for him to wait for her...and yet wishing that he would wait for her. (I am still wondering why she left him, what was her so called Majboori for which she had to leave him. She could have gone to Mumbai, with a promise to remain in touch and return back when she settles her siblings, i am sure he would have happily waited for her!) She felt angry today, that Raj didn't understand her majboori...but what was her majboori?

For me Divya and Sarita...both are totally humane characters...with no mahanta in it. Infact, they clearly are showing that even a person who essays the perfect, docile and oversweet bahu in tv shows, is clearly humane in real life. On one hand Sarita doesn't hide her frustrations and lashes back strongly...and on other hand Divya thinks that Raj should remain her's forever no matter what...and can't take the fact that he's moved on with someone.

Well, hope they show some of Raj now. His feelings, his emotions...😊

Actually no. Kamla started cursing Sarita, the moment she called out for tea. So Kamla started at first. But Divya forming only opinions about Sarita is because she felt pained and jealous about Sarita being Raj's wife. Kamla was least in her mind.
