This is a simple topic where everyone have to give their honest views on why they watch this show. They can write anything as long as they don't bash any actors. I will start with mine. They can give their honest opinions๐Ÿ˜Š. I won't quote any of the replies to interrupt or argue with any replies. I will post next comment only when I am asked anything here. Below is mine reply.

The reasons of me watching Prithvi Vallabh:
1. After nearly 5 months of a fantasy show getting ended, I got something nice and interesting to watch. The promos attracted me where both male lead and female lead are warriors with female lead being actually grey and realistic something which we rarely get to watch on Indian TV.
2. Before watching this show, I watched the movie on fast forward mode and read it's review on a site so I knew what to expect. Since this is a show I knew we will be shown much more than the movie. I loved the dialogues from the initial promo along with its beautiful music.
3. This show does not have any overrated and unnecessary romance. I am watching this for the overall story instead of watching it only for romance. This show till now has not shown any forced and unrealistic romance.
4. This show is of the standard which we saw in 80s and 90s shows.
5. After watching 1-2 episodes, I realized I did right in choosing to watch this show. This shoe gives proper screen space to every characters like any movie or novel instead of just giving 90% screen space to only the leads especially the female lead while other important cast stand like statues.

Right now, I could only think this much. I will add later if I remember something else๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

Now post your replies, guys. This is just a friendly post๐Ÿ˜Š.

This is a great post. Well, my reasons are very similar to the ones you've posted. If a show has decent and intriguing promos, I try to give it a shot. But usually, I give up watching a serial after the first 4-5 episodes ๐Ÿ˜† Sometimes, I abandon it after a single episode ๐Ÿ˜† I'm a very impatient viewer and I cannot tolerate lazy/bad writing. Even if a show has great actors, I will not follow it if the writing is sloppy.

I started watching PV because of the promos. Then I felt impressed with the overall quality of the writing. That quality has remained steady so far, and it is the main reason I've been hooked to the show. The story is fascinating, and most of the characters are different and appealing. The male and female leads are unique and strong in their own way, and that makes it more interesting. And of course, the actors are amazing. All in all, it is one of the best Hindi shows I've seen so far.

My reasons were :
1. Promos - Very interesting promos, the show looked so grand

2. Great cast - PV has one of the best ensemble casts.. Here unlike other shows all characters get good screen space and have something significant to do. Leads are good actors plus supporting cast is good as well.

3. Story - It is gripping so far...I often watch shows if the story is gripping and i don't get bored while watching the show...even if my fav is in a show whose story is weak and boring then also i stop watching it despite of my fav in it...So far, PV has managed to keep me hooked

4. Writing n Different Plot - Writing is nice ! Characters are well written..Here leads are different from usual shows and plot is interesting

5. Pace of the show - Pace is good...they don't drag the tracks which is good

6. Characters - I am loving the way characters are written n portrayed...Here I got a chance to watch some real flawed characters.

Watching it mostly because the ML and FL characters are different from the regular characters which we get on TV. Both are strong, for a change the FL is grey while the ML is an ideal man and will bring about change in her.
The interesting plot line, chemistry between Ashish Sonarika and the grandeur of the show is what kept me glued. All the actors of the show are convincing in their roles which is usually rare in ITV. Its a complete package. It has the right mix of intensity and light hearted moments.

I had many reasons to watch this show
1. I love historical shows specific where story is not much talked about and PV has that
2. I am huge fan of Ashish specially after seeing him in Siya ke Ram so I made my mind
3. I loved the promos and was really attracted to it
4. Sonarika was cherry on the cake I had seen her emoting anger which is quite powerful and seeing her as Mrinal a warrior was cherry on cake
5. I loved the strong theme line of show that talks about love forgiveness and assence of life ๐Ÿ˜Š
