Durdhara and Chaya went to see Rishi Dandayan. He was meditating on a small hilltop. Suddenly he heard footsteps walking towards him and he opened his eyes. He saw two young women in front of him. He asks , Devis what do you want? They did Pranam to the Rishi. Durdhara said Pranam Rishi Dev. I am Durdhara. This is chaya. We originally belong from Piplivana but currently we are living in Taxila. I have two queries. Dandayan stopped her smilingly by showing his hand. He observed Durdhara's face and calmly said "You will become a queen". Durdhara got shocked, Chaya smiled and whispered to her I told you. Rishi further said you want to know what will happen in future right? She nodded. You will be a great queen, not even queen, you will become Empress Consort. You husband, the Emperor will be "Best of Sovereigns". There will be no one like him. He will rule whole Jambudwipa. Kings and Emperors from far off land will bow in front of him. Such will be his glory which in ancient times only few could achieve. Your husband will be a "Chakravartin". Durdhara got delighted and became extremely happy....... suddenly he said BUT...........one day you will have to choose between your life and your duty. That day will be the biggest day of your life. That day you will have to make choice between life and death and your choice will effect the future of this world. He warned her, he said that day choose wisely my child. Your decision will effect the nation. Durdhara became very serious. Chaya got scared.

Durdhara said, Rishi Dev, what will be future of my husband. I mean someone cursed him. Will that curse effect him? Suddenly again thunders roared in the sky. Dandayan saw the sky. His eyes became very serious and it looked like thunders scared him. He got up. He said, my child...........whatever fate has decided can't be stopped. Curses are only a medium to fulfil a destiny. Your husband Can't escape. Durdhara got tears in her eyes. Her and chaya bowed to him. He said Kalyan Ho and they left.

Again thunders roared........

He looked up and said, "Why did you do this?".

Late in night that day....everyone were asleep, Chandra, Acharya and Akshay had left to meet Simharan. Chandra was gathering an army and most of the time he spent outside. He now rarely met Durdhara and Chaya. Swarna also mostly stayed with them and she was heavily involved in this mission.

Durdhara was alone in her room, only a small Diya had lighten the room, it was raining outside.

She thought about what Rishi Dandayan said. She was scared. She thought, What did you do Nandini? Why did you curse him? She closed her eyes and prayed, Hey Mahadev, if there is such a woman who will snatch Chandra from me, please kill me before that. I would never be able to bear to see Chandra with someone else. I once had decided to but I realised I am too weak. I may become a good queen but I won't be sacrificial enough to share Chandra with anyone. Nandini you didn't curse him, you cursed me.

Chanakya was with everyone in a cave......

Chanakya - Chandra, Simharan has arranged for mercenaries, he would be leading from front while you be in back.

Chandra- But Acharya when is Eudemus gonna attack? The throne has been empty for quite few days. Mahadevi Kalyani is running as a regent for her new born son. She has imprisoned Ambhiraj's other sons. Pauravraj thinks Taxila is now under him.

Chanakya said- Why do you think shaktar succeeded in killing Ambhiraj? Because Pauravraj wanted to. In Aliksundara's pressure he married Kalyani to an old man, now after his death he made Kalyani imprison his Yuvraj and sons. Amatyas support Kalyani. But Eudemus wont accept growing influence of Pauravraj, so him and also Philipus might attack, then you will come for rescue of Kalyani. We will also hinder any help from Malayketu for Kalyani.

Chandra - But that is cruel?

Chanakya - Don't worry, help will come, only Kalyani will think that Malay wanted to kill her and her son and have complete control over Taxila.

Chandra was uneasy- It seems very cruel Acharya

Chanakya said- Sometimes we have to take some harsh decision for greater good, but don't worry, no innocent will be harmed, I will make sure of that.

Chandra now felt a little easy, he thought, being a king might look glamorous but there is a huge mental and physical stress involved. Chandra was now starting his journey to become a king.
