Chandra was shocked at this. He had a private audience with Acharya. Chandra didn't want him to go and again get insulted but Chanakya was determined. He took blessings of Acharya and he left for Magadha. Chandra was very worried for Acharya and his worry made his friends worried. Meanwhile they all were making their all Yojanas of how to deal with impending danger.
Few days later
Nandini got ready and went to Gurukul to meet Durdhara, Chaya and Mura. She was very excited specially to meet Mura. She knew she was his mother and she wanted to make a good impression on her. She reached Gurukul and was welcomed warmly by Maya, Durdhara, and Chaya. Chaya was frightened to greet Nandini but she hugged chaya. Chaya was dumbstruck. She could not speak. She was shocked that a princess was hugging her. Nandini demanded to see Mura. Mura entered and before she could do pranam to Nandini she touched her feet. Everyone was shocked and Durdhara smiled. Maya looked at her and Durdhara just smiled and smirked at her. Chaya said, Durdhara? What is going on? Why is she touching my aunt's feet? Mura said Rajkumari you shouldn't touch your servant's feet. She said Maa, you are not servant, you are a mother to me and she hugged her. Now I want to eat food prepared from your hands. I have heard you food tastes like heaven. Mura was shocked but happy that the princess was so interested in her. Chaya again asked Durdhara who was smiling. Durdhara said nothing is happening,just future daughter in law getting to know her mother in law. Chaya shouted what? Nandini and Mura by then had left to eat her food. Durdhara took chaya to a quite place. She said Hush chaya. What are you doing? Don't shout. Chaya said have you gone crazy? How can Rajkumari Nandini can become my sister in law? Durdhara said she can and she told about how Nandini met Chandragupta. Chaya said but Durdhara what about you? First of all I don't believe Bhrata will or can marry Rajkumari Nandini. And suppose if he does miraculously, what about you? Don't you love bhaiya and he loves you? Durdhara got shocked and blushed. She said , dhatt, we are just friends. We don't have anything going on between us. He's in Taxila, thousands Yojanas away.
Chaya said don't lie, we all know how strong you affections are for each other. And the relationship will be gladly approved by our family. In fact Father and aunt even talk about this. He says Durdhara will be a wonderful bride for Chandra.
Durdhara blushed and blushed more. She said yeah we are good friends and we might have fallen for each other in future but now there is no scope for that. Durdhara said that's because I was his only friend who was a girl and not blood related to him. Chaya said I don't know anything about love but I know what affection is. And trust me Bhaiyya is greatly affectionate towards you. If he knew what Nandini's mother intended, he would burn this whole world. Durdhara said enough chaya, even if Chandra loves me, I will ensure that love is shifted to Nandini. Chaya said so what about you? You will get married to another guy. Durdhara said I don't know what future brings for me but I WILL ENSURE I GIVE CHANDRA HIS BIGGEST GIFT BEFORE I DIE.

In Taxila
Chandragupta reunited with Acharya and his friends Shashank and Akshay. He told Acharya about his mission being successful and how he manipulated Durdhara and Nandini in helping him. He praised Durdhara and ranted for an hour about Nandini. Acharya smirked smilingly on Chandra's dislike yet praises for Nandini. He was planning something for future. He thought "Age Chalke ye dono kanyaein tumhare jeevan ka mahtvapurna ang ban jayegi".
Chandragupta met his friends and saw a strange figure standing in distance. She was a girl and girls were not allowed there. There was a different university for them. Her features were also very sharp and she was attractive but had foreign features as well. Shashank wanted to befriend her asap. 🤣
Acharya introduced her as Berenice , daughter of governor Suluva (Stelios). Her father was a normal Bactrian warrior with Greek descent who was in service of Ambhiraj , ruler of Taxila. When he warned Ambhi of impending danger of Alexander and him trying to invade beyond Bactria, Ambhiraj killed him. He wanted to take young Berenice as concubine for his son , she escaped and took refuge in University. University was a sacred place and even Ambhiraj didn't want to anger the teachers who took an innocent young girl as refugee. They gave Berenice new name, Swarnakshi. Hearing her story, all boys felt sorry for her. Swarnakshi's mom was a Taxilian civilian who was a slave but Suluva married her as he fell in love.
All boys when heard the story felt really sorry for her. Swarnakshi greatly praised the teachers for saving her. Chanakya said now Berenice would also take education from the university and will be a warrior like them. Boys were happy and Chandra was amused. Swarnakshi looked at Chandra and smiled and he felt shy. Shashank was blushing seeing Swarnakshi. Teachers decided not to send her to girl's University for her own safety. She would be cared by wives of the teachers.
And they all started talking lessons together.
Acharya was concerned on this news of Alexander invading
In Magadha
Some guests had to come to visit Dhanananda after few days. He visited mother of his beautiful daughter Nandini and told her that he wanted young girls to please his friends. She promised him to send girls soon for him and his friends. She went to find beautiful girls in Antahpura and suddenly she saw Nandini and Durdhara passing by. Durdhara wasn't very beautiful but she was young and the mother decided something.

It's CGM's love which saved Durdhara, Nandini solely did to not make hurt him and in his letter he requested her to take care of Durdhara as she was very dear to him 😢

Nandini and Mura were eating food together. Nandini said Maa your are sakshatkar Annapurna. Your food is just absolutely delicious. Mura said thank you princess. Without you our family would be in great trouble. We all are indebted to you. Nandini again requested to not call her princess but this time Mura said but you are princess and we don't want to forget that we are nothing in front of you. Your kindness has already been overwhelming for us. Nandini said if you consider me princess then it's my order you call me by my name. Mura smiled and said ok, from now on I will call you Nandini. Mura patted her cheeks like a daughter. She noticed Chandra's necklace on her. Mura said Nandini, this necklace is so ordinary, not befitting for a princess like you. Why you wear it? Nandini said it is a gift from a very dear friend of mine. He is currently in Taxila. Mura suddenly remembered her son is also in Taxila. Mura said Taxila? Oh my son is also there. Tears came in her eyes while remembering him. She tearfully said to save our financial problems I sold my son to a great person because even though he bought him he promised us he would make him a great warrior. Nandini blushed and shyly asked , what is his name? Mura wiping her tears said Chandragupta. Nandini blushed. Mura thanked Nandini again for saving them and Durdhara but Nandini said I have big plans for Durdhara Mother. After she completes her education here I want her to marry my second brother Sukesh. Mura shocked. She said Durdhara marrying a prince? It's impossible. She said I will make it possible. Durdhara is very intelligent, calm, poised and self respecting.The gunas I want in bride of Sukesh. Bhaiya is still studying and he is one year older than Durdhara. I will make them meet each other. Mura said but Nandini, wouldn't king be mad that a commoner that too from family like ours will want Durdhara as daughter in law. Nandini said Maa royal princes don't have only one wife and bhrata sukesh is not crown prince. Father wouldn't mind, specially if I request. Mura shocked but she greatly praised her favours to them. Nandini in her mind said Sorry Durdhara but that's the only way to remove you from Chandra's life. Consider it a return gift for my favours. And so far how much I have known you, you will never try to snatch my happiness as now you understand whatever I did, I did for love only. Mura and Nandini left for a walk in the ashram's beautiful garden.
Chaya said to Durdhara, fine Durdhara whatever you want but trust me Bhaiyya won't be happy with any princess but only you. Now let's go, Gurumaa would be waiting for us.
On Basant Utsav day
In Taxila
Everyone was happy and was celebrating on streets despite the news of Ambhi making a treating with Alexander. The people were greeting each other and having fun. Today was also day off in the university. Akshay, Shashank, Chandra and Swarna were sitting under a tree eating sweets except Chandra. Akshay said what happened Chandra , eat sweets they are delicious. Swarna also said yes Chandra, eat, absolutely delicious. But Chandra was very sad and thinking about Chanakya. He said Guys I am really worried about Acharya. Also now the treaty has happened and we are seeing Aliksundara's soldiers on our streets everyday now it's very much sure that either Pauravraj will also do the same treaty or ambhi and Aliksundara will attack Pauravraj. His armies have already rooted so many small janapads including Ashwataks. Swarna became worried too. She said you are right Chandra. But what can we do? We are not an army that we can fight against him. Shashank said worry won't help us. It will only degrade our health. For now just eat sweets. Chandra said these sweets will taste like Bittergourd to me. He thought I will wait for Acharya to come back and then we will make a plan together. Swarna said let us all go for a walk outside and meet new people. Today everyone is happy due to the festival. And who knows we might get to see his soldiers and we beat them. Everyone laughed, us beating them said Akshay. Chandra said now I am motivated to go. He smirked and winked at swarna. She smirked. They all left for the streets.
Acharya had reached Magadha and everyone was very happy celebrating Basant Utsav. He thought in Taxila too everyone would be celebrating. Hope I get positive response from Dhan Nanda though I have little to no expectations from a guy like him.
Nandini in her palace was still very sad as she wanted to see Chandra but she didn't understand how she convinced her mother to take her to Taxila. She wanted to confess to Chandra that she loved him so that he wouldn't immediately marry any girl right after graduating and enter grihasth ashram.
Part X
Nandini went to her mom and said Maa, can we go to Taxila after Basant Utsav? I feel very bored. Her mother said Taxila? So far? Dear it's too far , there are so many good places nearby. Why do we need to go to Taxila? You are no ordinary person, you are a princess. You are barely allowed to go outside Antahpura and you are saying we go to Taxila? And why Taxila dear? Nandini said I want to see the university there and meet the great Acharyas there. I have heard they all are very learned and I will get knowledge. Her mother said dear you are a girl, we didn't send your brothers that far and there are great teachers in Magadha as well. Nandini said but mother but she said No arguments Nandini. Your request is absurd. Suddenly Dhan Nanda entered. What are you scolding my darling daughter. She ran to her father's arms. She said Pitashree, I want to go to Taxila to see the university there but mother is denying my request. He laughed and said oh so you want to go to Taxila, fine dear I will take you there. Nandini Said really father. He said yes really, now go and enjoy the festival. Nandini was on the moon due to her happiness. As she left her mother asked him, Swami I don't understand, how can you allow this? He said don't worry dear. I myself will to its neighbouring kingdom of Pauravdesha soon. Her mother asked but why? Why you? Cant you send Amatya Rakshasa or an ambassador? Or are you gonna invade Pauravraj? Nanda said Pauravraj has a small kingdom but a prosperous one and he is very brave man. I want his youngest son Malayketu to wed our daughter Nandini. Also I wanted to go to Pauravdesha as I have heart Paurav's Amatya's daughter Suhasini is very beautiful. I am personally gonna go and demand her from Pauravraj. If I go personally, he won't dare to deng. She said for an Amatya's daughter you are personally going there. Not befitting of your stature but I like the proposal of Malayketu and Nandini's marriage. I have heard Malayketu is handsome , brave and intelligent. Also he is son of one of the greatest warriors alive in the world right now. I am happy. Nand said even when I mention Suhasini? She said she's not the first and certainly not the last. They both laughed evily.
In Taxila the friends went to the streets and they were warmly meeting with other people and sharing sweets and greetings when they reached a riverbed. They saw few Yavana soldiers there and were angry to death. Swarna remembered her father's death and she was highly angry. She said I want to cut them to pieces and feed them to dogs. Chandra said calm yourself swarna, they are soldiers and many in number. We must think wisely. Akshay said, Yes Swarna, like Acharya always say never succumb yourself to anger. Shashank said we must be careful they are looking at us. The soldiers were looking at them and laughing, specially they were seeing swarna and making lewd faces. Swarna in Yavana language shouted and cursed them. Chandra, and others also understood the language. The soldiers got outraged and attacked the students. The students were not without weapons they had their swords. They started fighting with them. The soldiers were in many numbers but their skills were also very good. Very soon they cut half of the soldiers, other half didn't think it was honourable to get beaten by students and left but not without cursing then and warning them that they would come for them. Chandra said, guys this was our first victory. Shashank said you were exceptional Chandra. Under your guidance we were able to defeat them. Shashank, he's topper of the university for a reason. Swarna smiled , yeah, we are so blessed to have a friend like you Chandra. And you fulfilled my wish. Chandra said I remembered your sorrows, cut on your hand, my own sorrow of Ambhi making peace with that aggressor made me enraged with fury. Swarna and others were very proud of him. Shashank said you know what chandra, one day you will become king, Akshay said and we all be your officials. Swarna said Yeah, what will you make me Chandra in your court. He smiled and smirked and tapped her nose playfully and said court jester and swarna angrily said you .........and they all laughed and left for the university.
Later that day in night Chanakya with great difficulty met DhanaNanda and got insulted and took Pratigya

I got so confused that I had to rack my brain for a few minutes. I'll be reading everything today.
