Megasthenes after much request was allowed to meet Helena but only from a distance with many guards around. Helena was sitting in front of him with her son. He was staring at her beauty but quickly lowered his eyes. He asked, Princess, the Emperor is very worried about your health and happiness. Are you happy here? He looked at guards thinking Helena would lie. Helena laughed, she said I am very happy here, don't worry about me. Tell my father I am very happy and in content. He said ,he sent some gifts for you and your son but they are currently taken by guards for check. She smiled. He said, your father defeated Antigonus and crowned himself as Baseilus. She got happy and excited. She said really? He said thanks to the assistance Emperor Sandrocottus gave it to him. She was extremely happy. Then he asked her some questions when a guard came and said, Arya your time is over. Megasthenes saluted Helena and left. He wanted to kiss Helena's hands as their custom but he wasn't allowed to. He thought, I lost my chance. Wish I would have confessed on time. He had tears in his eyes.

Later in night, Helena was sent to Chandra's room. She ran to hug him. But he looked serious. She said what happened? He said, Megasthenes, he looked like he liked you once. Helena laughed, she said you think about any man sees me. Chandransh is your son but I bet you can get even jealous of him. He smiled. Helena opened her hair and removed her jewellery. She said, today's festival was so nice, I enjoyed a lot. She was in front of mirror applying her rose perfume. Chandra inhaled the smell and said Ah ....she giggled...she came to him and touched his face caressing it and said, my Emperor, I am all yours....he grabbed her hand and kissed it....he caressed her chin and kissed her.....they hugged......

Chandra had sent two slave girls sent by Seleucus in service of Chaya and Mura. Mura had left for Taxila as she didn't want to live in Magadha. Swarna wanted to go with her but Chandra stopped her irritating Durdhara, Nandini and Helena combined. Swarna was the only queen though Helena interacted with as she was of same origins as her and Swarna was wiser than both Helena and Nandini, she understood how to handle childish nature of Helena.

Durdhara had arranged a grand lunch for everyone on occasion of Swarna's birthday as Chandra ordered. Chandra was very busy in the court and he didn't meet his queens for days and they were bored so it was a huge opportunity for them to have fun. Helena was specially invited. The queens were having fun and everyone was happy. Swarna was wished by everyone. Helena entered in a golden dress and beautiful diamond jewellery. One servant said, no wonder she is favourite of the Emperor, just look at her, she doesn't even bow to Agramahishi, ah....wish our luck was like her. Being loved by someone so passionately. She came to Durdhara and greeted her first as per her status. Durdhara hugged her. She kissed her cheek. Durdhara was shocked, she think why she kisses me? First my hand and then my cheek. Swarna laughed, she said Durdhara, this is our custom. Helena said, sorry this is my habit. Durdhara said now I understand why Chandra doesn't let any man near you and she smirked. Helena got angry but Swarna quickly hugged her to ease the situation. Nandini was there, she thought, Swarna is a lot wiser than Durdhara.

Part 122

Swarna, Nandini, Helena and Durdhara were sitting together watching girls dancing. Helena ate laddoos in front of her, she again ate some, Swarna said oh my, your appetite has increased so much. Helena said, yeah, I am loving these ...what you guys call it, oh yeah, laddoo....so sweet..... suddenly she felt like to vomit.....a servant brought a pitcher and she vomitted.... Durdhara said, you shouldn't eat so much........suddenly she collapsed.... everyone got concerned. She was taken to her room..... doctors were called....her son was crying....to see his mother like this...Chandra when got to know this quickly came... despite he was very busy. Her son was crying constantly so Durdhara picked him up and he stopped....Chandra saw this and said, Durdhara you are such a wonderful woman. My son immediately stopped crying in your arms ....she kissed his head and said he's so cute....Chandra thought, I can't wait when we will have a child Durdhara, my heir....you are so loving towards my other sons , I can't even imagine how loving you would be to your own son. He came towards her and kissed her head, he said my golden hearted Empress. She blushed. She said, what do you wanna name him? Durdhara said me? Helena should give him name. He smiled and said, as Agramahishi it's your right. She said, if you say so, I name him Chandrasri. He smiled and said so be it , Chandrasri. Swarna came with Chandransh and Priyadarshini. Chandransh was worried and said what happened to Helena? Swarna said, choti maa , don't take her name. Chandra saw him with anger and he gulped and said Choti Maa. Chandra funnily slapped Chandransh and said that's better. Suddenly a dasi came and said good news Emperor, Devi is with child again.....funnily no one was surprised.......Chandra gave Dasi some jewellery and she bowed and left. Durdhara said why am I not surprised. Chandra blushed and smiled. Swarna said, Congratulations Chandra. He hugged Swarna like he used to do as they were in University. Durdhara said, Congratulations. Chandra met Helena and sat with her....she was blushing....she said..I am so happy. Helena said me too.......he hugged her and kissed her forehead. The news made Nandini sad on her own situation

Shashank and Nayantara came to meet Swarna later after party ended. Shashank saw Swarna and got tears in her eyes. Nayantara said control my love, otherwise I may punch you here. If won't be nice. She was very angry. Shashank said you knew about my feelings for her before our marriage. So don't be so angry. She's my Emperor's wife. So you don't have to be worried. Nayantara saw him with angry eyes and said then stop being so explicit. Swarna came to meet them. She hugged Nayantara. She fake smiled at her and greeted her on her birthday. Shashank also gave her wishes. He wanted to hug her like he used to do as her friend but now he had to maintain the distance. They gave her a beautiful statue as gift. It was expensive. Swarna said thank you. Swarna's kids left to play with Nayantara's son. They talked for like an hour and they left. Swana later was alone and she cried. She said to herself, thank you Chandra that you still haven't forgotten me. Suddenly someone hugged her from behind. She got shocked. She was about to slap but when she turned she found Chandra. She was absolutely shocked. She said, Chandra weren't you busy today? He said, I was but how could I not come on your birthday. She got tears in her eyes and hugged him tightly. She said ,you should be with Helena. She needs your attention and care. He put his finger on her lips and said ...ssshhh...today is your day...and he kissed her....he said, my dearest consort, my dear friend......you were the first person in my life who taught me what love was.......he kissed her forehead.......if not for Durdhara, you would have been my Agramahishi.......he wiped her tears...........and they hugged, as a couple and as best friends.......

Part 124

After one month Chandra got the news that Saurashtra was having trouble of irrigation and drought. He decided to make a visit personally. Acharya said, Chandra take Durdhara with you. It would also be your outing besides you two will get a good idea of the situation going on there. Chandra wanted to take Helena as well but as she was with a child it wasn't ok to take her and also he didn't express his wish to Acharya. He told about this decision to Durdhara and she was extremely happy. She thought, thank you Acharya, finally away from his wives, alone with him. Durdhara hugged Chandra and said we are gonna have so much fun there. Chandra smiled and said we are there for work my dear not fun but chaya and pushya are there, so I am excited to meet them. Durdhara smiled....later he met Helena in night who was upset. She made a pout and he laughed, he said you are with a child and acting like a child. She said, why don't you take me with you? I want to meet your sister. Or only Durdhara is allowed to go with you, you know as I am second woman. He said, shut up, you are my queen. She said, if that's so why don't you take me? He kissed her belly and said because of this. You need care. She said what care will I get here if you are not here. He said, Swarna is here. She said, she's your wife in angry voice. He said, Acharya is here. She said, he's always busy in writing his book. He said, my love is here.....he kissed her....he took her son in his arms and said, look Chandrasri is here. This lion will take care of you, his son laughed....as Chandra tickled him.....she smiled but had tears ..she said, I will miss you. He said I will miss you too and he left. Helena started crying....but her maids came and soothed her.

Before leaving he also met Nandini. He asked are you with a child yet? She said, not yet. He hugged her. She said don't worry. Nandini said, you are leaving. I will be all alone again. He said, if you wanna go I can ask Acharya. She said, don't worry about me, have fun there. He left but before he said, Nandini all I wanna see is you being happy and he tearfully left.....Nandini smiled.

Durdhara and Chandra next day left for Saurashtra secretly in disguise of a normal couple. They were in a cart. She was lying her head on his shoulder and her hand was wrapped around his arm. She said, after so long I am at peace. For the first time I feel like we are a normal couple. Chandra put his head on her head and said like we wished in childhood, a normal life. They remained like this for a long time..... embracing their love after so long. Neither Chandra was thinking about anyone except her nor she was thinking anything except him. They fell asleep like this..

Part 125

This journey was really pleasant for Durdhara and Chandra. They spent quality time with each other stopping at Sarais and observing situation in their empire. They stopped at another Sarai before reaching Saurashtra which was now very near in their journey. Durdhara made charities and donations and Chandra was extremely proud of her. She also planted trees herself and named them after their family giving each tree a name like one tree she called by her name. She also planted a rose plant and called her Helena making Chandra smile. He said to her, you are of golden heart my love.

In night in their room, Chandra was looking outside the window when suddenly he smelled rose perfume. He got shocked and turned and said Helena when he saw Durdhara dressed like Helena wearing rose perfume. He got shocked. He asked, Durdhara what is this? Durdhara came to him and caressed his face. She said, you like this right. He got angry and pushed her hand away. He said what the hell is this? Durdhara said Helena's servants always boast to my servants you love her very passionately. I want that love. He said, how pathetic Durdhara. How can you degrade yourself like this? Go and change your clothes. She said, I want to be loved by you Chandra. He said, I love you. You don't have to dress as another woman for that. Durdhara says in angry voice, just say you are missing her. Chandra angry and said, we had such a pleasant trip so far. Why are you hell bent on ruining it? I hardly mentioned her in our trip. You are the one seems like missing her so much. Durdhara lowered her eyes and said, I don't like you with your other queens. Chandra said, so what do you want? Leave them?. They all have done so many sacrifices for me and you want me to leave mothers of my children and shed my responsibilities for you. Sorry but I won't do it. Nandini lost her entire family and you want me to abandon her who is suffering so much just because of me? Swarna left her happiness for me. She was a princess yet she sacrificed everything so that I could become a king. She remained hidden for so long with her children, never demanded her rights once from me and you want me to leave her? She is living as a secondary queen when she deserves all respect and love from me. If she asks even today I can leave you but not her. This was eye opening for Durdhara. He further said, Helena loves her family very much, but just for me she has lost all contact with them. She can't meet people as I become very jealous when she likes to make friends but she silently bears it so that I don't become angry. You can't even imagine what pain she feels when she misses her family and friends. She is very territorial but just on my request she has vowed to never hurt you. You are not the only one hurt Durdhara. Shashank lost his love to me. Swarna would have been more happy with him. My friends sacrificed so much just so that I could become a king. Acharya spent his entire life to make me a king and you want me to leave these people who lost so much in life. He said, you are chief queen because Swarna and Nandini willingly sacrificed their position, Nandini has more right to be chief queen as princess of former dynasty. She tamed Amatya Rakshas who was hell bent on making her chief queen. I never thought you could be so selfish Durdhara.

Durdhara got shocked and like got awaken from sleep. She said, you will never understand a woman's heart. He said I may or may not understand but this is ridiculous. You degraded yourself today. Now change your clothes. Durdhara didn't say anything and changed her clothes. She said, I am sorry Chandra, I got carried away. He said, don't pay attention on servants and their talks. He cupped her face and said, my beautiful Agramahishi. He kissed her forehead. He said, lets have peace here. She placed her head on his shoulders.

Part 126

Helena went to meet Swarna as she was bored. Chandransh had started his studies and he was busy meanwhile priyadarshini still didn't like Helena because servants fed her that her father loved her more than her mother and she didn't like it. Swarna was practicing sword fighting and Helena was watching her with her son and Priyadarshini playing with him. He poked his cheeks cutely and he laughed. Helena clapped for Swarna. They talked in their original language. Helena said ,you are so well trained. Are you a spartan? She laughed and said no, I am not a spartan. My father was a normal governor of Paursa and my mother was native of Taxila. Helena asked, what was his name? Swarna said, Stelios but his name here was Suluva. Helena said, it sounds so much like my father, Seleucus. Hope we won't be confused as one woman in future. They both laughed. Helena said, Berenice you are so nice and kind. Swarna said, hardly anyone calls me by this name. It's weird to me now. She smiled. Priyadarshini said, mother tell her father loves me the most. Helena laughed and so did Swarna. Helena said, my dear your father loves you very much. Priyadarshini said, more than you. Helena laughed, yes more than me. Priyadarshini said, but servants say otherwise. Helena said, don't give attention to them, your father loves you because you are his angel. She felt proud and said really? Helena said yes. Priyadarshini was about to hug Helena when Swarna stopped her. She said Careful dear. Choti Maa has a baby in her belly. Priyadarshini said, I will have another brother? Helena said, well that's what we are hoping for. Priyadarshini was excited. Swarna said, dear now go and do study. She left annoyingly. Helena laughed at her. She said, kids....so innocent. Helena said, I am missing Samrat, do you know when can be he back? She said, I don't know, it may take months. Helena said, I guess Chief Queen will come back with his heir. Swarna said, well we all hope so. Helena was annoyed and jealous. She touched her belly and said, I am waiting for my new joy. Swarna smiled. She said, we are waiting for this new little one too. Helena said, you are so kind and generous. I am surprised why aren't you chief queen. Swarna said nothing and their talks went for long hours. The two queens bonded well.
