And I am very upset with today's writter they have mostly detoriated the historical fact ,asoka movie sy kuch sikha liya hota history sy kilwad karny ka it was not well received by audience remarkable change karna tha na.

Ashok and Devi were not together for many years, they were together for 8 years in which they had two kids, afterward he married Karuwaki, Padmavati and Asandhimitra and he fell in love with Asandhi. Some scholars think Karuwaki was Tisyarakshita so probably Karu came in his life when he was already 70+ guy 😬 more like oldie 🤢

Asandhimitra, Agramahishi of Ashok, his dearest and most beloved Consort, his advisor and confidant , she was princess of Asandhivat, she was a very meritorious woman, like Karu said in the show, Ashok loved her on adhar of her Gunas not only beauty

Tisyarakshita, Agramahishi of Ashok after death of Asandhimitra, she originally was a handmaiden of Asandhimitra but after her death Tisya charmed Ashoka with her beauty and after she saved Ashok from a disease he gave her power but as she lusted after Ashok's son Kunala, after getting rejected by him she blinded him. Ashok burned her alive or she consumed poison.

Agramahishi Ragyi Durdhara (Empress Consort Queen Durdhara). She was mother of Bindusara. Her mention with name is in ParishistParvan written By Hemachandra. She is mentioned as Ragyi and mom of Bindusara who died due to eating poisoned food of Chandragupta. The same story is in Mahavansh Tika but there she is mentioned as daughter of eldest maternal uncle of Chandragupta and his Agramahishi. Burmese Legends calls her of Mauryan lineage. So probably she was from his village and not necessarily his relative. But she was a commoner though from prestigious family. She is called emotional for her husband. Chanakya saw her as his own daughter and wanted her son to succeed Chandragupta.main-qimg-363873dcccb8cd57aa29ae2044bd9bcf.jpeg

Shubhadhrangi, mom of Ashok. Only in one text (name forgotten) she is called Agramahishi. Her another title was Janpad Kalyani. Another text says she was from Champa and her father had given her to Bindusara due to prohecy of her giving birth to two illustrious sons, one of them would be king. Bindusar's other queens made her a servant but Bindusara pleased with her services asked her a boon. She requested him to make love to her.d

Furious but he let her explain herself for so blatantly demanding his love.she told him her story and he accepted her request and made her a queen. Ashok's story suggests she lost favour after birth of her second son Tissa or Vittashok.

It's not like that may be or may be not Karu and Trisha are different person doubt is wether Devi and Asandhmitra because I am a history student and no were in any text mention they are different it's based on logic and interpretation of various sources because if Trisha a dasi was made chief queen then why asoka had never made Devi his chief queen she is in better position than Trisha and to his first wife and origin of ashadmitra is nowhere mention only seperate wiki is there no source name is mentioned and in Hindu religion first wife is supposed to be chief wife and before Buddhist asokha was Hindu only or there most loved and politicalily important wife can be chief wife and asadhi may be one of her name and Indian written history has always been biasedly written and politicalily motivated .one point more that even Ashoka was also considered legendary and mythical during British era until his name beared inscriptions are not discovered. Karu and Ashoka love story is partially true because she is clearly mentioned as dwitiya Devi not first or or as a person who hold some imp place like empress she is dwitya Devi and son of mother and a philanthropist .and history needs more to discover.

Asandhi and Devi were not same woman 🤣😂 I mean if you are a student, what the hell are you studying then? 🤣 You can read my posts again, I won't repeat everything again. Any person who even has seen basic sources can clearly tell Asandhimitra and Devi were different women. Karu and Tisya are made same woman, not Devi and Asandhi.
