Devi knew she had to bend her head in front of his Agramahishi, for some reason she didn't want to cage herself in his harem where different women were scheming, planning and plotting to gain power. She found it pathetic and therefore didn't follow him. Ashok also found solace, love, warmth and comfort in Asandhimitra and moved on but remained indebted to his precious first wife for her sacrifices and their two really well learned children.

Heck, I need to see this. Was it in the SR scene?! Coz I found that scene cringe enough, I don't know why. I mean, I like Devi & Ashok together, but, I think the way they're trying to portray Ashok is just cringe and teeth grinding that I just averted my eyes and somehow even my ears went momentarily deaf.

Maldan (Mallika and Adnan) have no chemistry 🤣😂 no matter how much they make Devi a villain, she will still have much better chemistry with Adnan because she is a good actress while Mallika may emote nicely but her pathe dialogue delivery annihilates her any effort

Devi have traits of Nandini (historical one). She seems to be really passionate for her husband and demands her love and he is reluctant to reciprocate. Their relationship looks like of CGM- Nand Nandini. The woman was thirsty for CGM. It's even in the verse where she is mentioned
