Prachi's interview, this is so wrong😡 the only queens who are called possessive in Mauryan History are Helena and Tisyarakshita. Helena was very possessive, most possessive Mauryan queen. In fact Chanakya had commented on her that the King's favourite is stubbornly childish and difficult to control. He is not saying this about chief queen but favourite queen. Helena was a child who had seen her mother as her father's only queen. All others were just concubines who bend their knees in front of her mom. She wanted same type of honour and love from her husband. Chandragupta gave her protection and love and kept her away from Agramahishi and created a bubble for her in which she was a lone queen. We knew they would do that but making Devi a villain is a new low. Somehow making Helena a villain is easily accepted by audience even without fact checking due to their own reasons but Devi being a villain is definitely nasty 😡 Devi was loved by Ashoka, she was his first love.
