I am not a professional historian π I can write but I don't have time π

I would prefer to write a fanfiction on Chandragupta rather than Ashok. π

Be a professional then!!! β€οΈYou have it in you.
Or as Ekta's heroines usually say: Apne dil jhankkΓ© dekho, tum yeh kar sakte ho. Apne dil ki suno!

More accurate for the show ππ€£
Their actions were OTT but not their voice
In PA OTT actions with loud screeching make it impossible to watch the scene peacefully
I really don't know what went wrong with this PA..the casts are misfit or the team?
The result is so disappointing. I'm really feeling bad for Adnaan he had come here to built a career for himself. One wrong decision ( like PA) can destroy his career totally.
I'm not anyone's fan .. I'm saying this from a neutral POV. PA is nowhere in comparison with Ekta's other historical shows.

Chandragupta and daughter of Suluva or Princess Suruva (forgotten queen of Chandragupta Maurya, mentioned in Bhavishya Puran) , chief queen after death of Durdhara. Her father was named Suluva who was Yavana king of Paursa (probably a city or Nagar). She probably would see Helena as a rival as both were Yavanas. They are often mixed aa one as Seleucus and Suluva sound very similar. ππ€£π€
Ashok boasted about feudatory kings giving daughters in marriage, Samudragupta also boasted about it in his Inscription which he inscribed in Ashok's pillar π€£.π¬ππ
Even I have the same question?
You seem to have great knowledge about ancient history..
Are you a history professor by profession?

who writes dialogues for PA.?
Watch 1:10 - 1:15
Hum aapna tan , man , dhan sab kuch deke ek samman ki zindagi Dena chahte hai
I mean who proposes like this in ancient India ?

@bold: The team, I'd 100% say the team!!! From the history to the writing and the costumes. Also, the casting team, they just chose anyone famous and went with it. Looks like a millennial who grew up watching the SRK Ashoka movie and without any further background research decided to write a story of Ashoka on his own, not knowing if ashoka is a real character or not and believing that it might be a fairytale or just another folklore. They later wrote a script and get some funding and maybe some people along and a PH and here we are!!
@blue: Same dude, same! He came to experience and experiment. Had the team been any good, he'd be directed better and also given another shot to get it right along with instructions on how to better it, from the diction to the way of delivering dialogues, or at least made to see a particular vision in line with the story-teller. I don't think Mallika or Adnan are in line with the story-teller's vision till now.
@pink: Haven't seen or watched her other historical shows, but I know that they are highly inaccurate. At least her "Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Ki" was and when I heard about it, I checked it and yup, it was rubbish somehow, from the costumes to just anything.

Ashok should marry her instead, much better than marrying Karu ππ€£
He will literally run away

By better I meant the execution and actings not the storyline..the plots were totally rubbish and far from the actual truth.
And I meant her Jodha Akbar and CN ( to some extent) they were better than PA.
