Trust me, whenever "Ekta" comes to mind for me, it rhymes with "infinity", "fabrication & twisting of Indian history" & "bad scripts". All that coz I've watched only Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (also known as "Tulsi" here in Mauritius). I swore never to watch her show after that infinite story. I was and still is apprehensive for Adnan. I don't know for Mallika as she's from India and hindu. Adnan being a foreigner and non-hindu, the burden will fall on him if he steps out of line or says anything contradicting, despite it being the writer's and director's fault. Also, after Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, IPKKND, Hamari Bahu RajniKant and Mahabharat (Siddharth Tiwari), Katha Ankahee was the best Indian show I ever watched till now (somehow it got me out of depression).

I know Adnan will rock it with his flawless acting but whatever the directors are going to do with the story, that I'm afraid of.

yeah we do not have any good shows available anymore 😂i only watch naagin to troll. After long time i found cjl which written by gautam hegde who wrote geet,ipkknd and madhubhala but post 60 episodes colors ruined it completely. Those 60 episodes will still remain special to me and last week it went offair after completing 80 episodes 😮‍💨 good shows does not stay long. I really wished that show to bring old itv era back as i am tired of these nonsense shows now 😮‍💨

She can do any thing After watching one of her shows I stopped watching ITV serials totally fir a while... Now watch serial means first check who is the producer ... Balaji means keep " run away for my sanity "

The most ironic thing is that those who don't know history would have had hard time to understand what's going on because they still haven't shown relationship of Helena with Bindusara clearly and the guy who roams with Ashok still is nameless 😂

I think the same and I'm not even Indian bro 😂. Watched the whole of Katha Ankahee online as we aren't subscriber to few Indian channels here. I was pleasantly surprised with KA's promo of the ONS that I thought I'll watch and thought it wouldn't happen as other Indian shows, but it did and that was the turning point for me to keep me watching till the end. And thank goodness it wasn't an Ekta's show, else, she'd ruin the Indian version of Binbir Gece//1001 Nights and "dhoom tananana-nified" it for as long as 1000 episodes!

I tried but they didn't take it but if they purposely made Ashok unappealing to look at is actually historically accurate so I won't blame them for that because it's accurate, Ashok was not handsome and probably that's why he was insecure and called himself Priyadarshi (pleasant looking) or maybe it was just a title because Mudrarakshasa also calls Chandragupta priyadashan and Chandragupta in almost every source is called a very handsome man, when Nand Nandini saw Chandragupta she immediately fell in love

Justin is a Roman name. Helena had more than one son as Megasthenes says he saw Chandragupta's young sons playing in palace ponds with their toy boats. Helena was half Greek and half Persian and was favourite wife of Chandragupta Maurya not villainous blonde woman she is always made. Ancient Greeks and Persians didn't have blonde hair

I have watched Jodha Akbar. From my experience I can tell you Ekta is not following the history she just taken the characters names and will make a clown of great Ashoka. Ashoka never left wars or violence because he fell In love neither he was devoid of parents love. It's just Ekta's version to justify Princess role Ashoka's life which was not true. In Jodha Akbar Ekta showed Jalal was dehshat before he met Jodha later she changed him into insaan in her love.

Whatever Bindusara said about Ashok to Dharma after his birth is how Ashok was actually in history, each and every word was true
