Sushant asks his amma about vasudha and whether her behaviour was right towards her, she says tht one has to learn responsibilities, sushant says tht he loves vasu and he will bring her home and then she can fight with DIL as much she wants, his mother replies affirmative for him. He goes saying tht he has to leave for office.
There vasu is sleeping and gets a call frm vedant saying he had been arrested. She is confused and tries to call sushant bt his phone is switched off, she calls sinha uncle and asks for help. He readily accepts and asks him pa to sort out the matter. And find out the reason for it.
Sushant receives fax press news release abt vedant's arrest and he calls vasu. She is surrounded by reporters bt she walks away and receives sush's call. And she tells him tht she was trying to reach him bt in vain, he says tht he is coming right there.
Vasu enters police station for vedant and asks to meet him. She meets vedant and he says tht he is innocent. Vasu trusts him and asks the reason for his arrest and tries to say tht someone wd have framed him. Sinha's PA comes and sorts out the matter with the police who accept to release vedant bt in morning.
Sushant comes there and asks vasu abt vedant. She explains him everything and as they r about to enter he spots sinha's PA and remembers something abt him and tht PA leaves frm there taunting sushant. Sush gets angry and asks vasu tht she didn't bothered to call him bec she knew tht sinha is much stronger than him. She tries to make him understand bt sushant is furious and says tht he will print this news. Vasu is against this bt sushant doesn't hear this. And she is annoyed when he says tht he will only make headlines of vedant's arrest.
The next morning, rudr is happy for his plan and his father asks him his reason to which he says tht ved got arrested for drugs to which his father says tht he also got bailed and sinha did his bail. He says tht this time also vasu came to rescue and says tht where ur thinking ends her thinking begans. Rudr gets upset.
Vasu is reading the newspapers and glad to see tht her paper didn't print this news. Bt worries for dhir's reaction. Dhir comes in frustration mood and shows the newspapers to everyone and says tht the whole world knows this bt his father doesn't know this. And asks vasu for this whole reason. Meanwhile sinha comes with vedant and gives him a suggestion to have control over the kids. And takes him into corner and says tht u didn't do my small work of sushant bt I did so much for u. and leaves. Dhir gets angry and asks vedant to step forward. He goes on slapping him until vasu stops him. Dhir asks him to go out of his sight and requests vasu to tell him everything as he doesn't want anyone to help him out. She accepts her mistake and dhir goes frm there.
Here sinha's PA tells him tht rudr framed vedant and he is his cousin. Sinha asks him to get rudr meet him. There vedant is crying and vasu comes to cheer him up bt vedant says tht he believed his father would hear his innocence bt he didn't do tht instead he slapped him. Vasu defends her father saying its his pride and prejudice which he had earned for so many years bt vedant is in no mood to listen as vedika also supports vedant. Vedant leaves while vasu is left thinking.
There sushant reads the newspapers bt could nt find the headlines in his own paper and wonders abt pandeyji's attitude. And gets frustrated. He throws the papers and uttara reads tht paper where vedant's news is published and wonders abt dhir's relationship with vasu. Sushant clarifies her saying tht vasu is his child. And goes for office. Uttara is left thinking and says tht if vasu is dhir's daughter then sushant and vasu can never get married.
