Right from the first scene to the last scene, every single thing about today's episode was riveting and completely enjoyable. I didn't move my eyes even for a moment from the screen. (well except during commercial breaks)

Tarun, Ashish and Sanaya were fabulous, each trying to outdo the other by their sheer talent for acting. What a pleasure it is to watch a show every actor is better than the one before.

The story is building up at a good pace and I'm glad that my belief that the real story would begin with Paro & Rudra's story was reaffirmed.

I have zero complaints on today's episode. I hope they keep the script tight & let the actors do their magic onscreen.

wow that sounds like it was a wonderful epi. Looking forward to watching it. A show with really good actors a great production team (camera, writing, story) is such a treat -- and unfortunately so rare. on Indian TV

Basanti:
I totally agree--riveting work, and not a "Rabba Ve" ummm...I mean "Rasiyaaa" in sight or a shirtless man on screen to play to the gallery. Just pure, total acting.

I feel like today for the first time, Thakur became a real character for me, instead of the hilarious tape measure wielding doofus serialjunkie has made him into in my mind, with her brilliant comic take-downs. Today, I really SAW the guy, and it doesn't hurt that he is also holy hellberries hot!

I can actually understand why for 17 years a man like this could have controlled a village full of people, to the point of giving up 17 girls, one after the other--it was such a powerful narrative too, that legacy of slow evil.

Thakur oozed smarmy charm, knowing full well it was being seen through by Rudra..and he played off Ashish's intensity by being just ever so slightly mocking of the passionate patriotism of the man--and its not easy to match Ashish's powerhouse act and even surpass it--honors to the Thakur, today. I TOTALLY believe he has brass balls, even if his tape measure gives the rest of his parts...very few inches.

Related note: Loved the post showing the audition tape. Without any costume music, direction, it was remarkable.

couldn't agree more..there are a lot of shows which go downhill after a great start..I hope that doesn't happen to RR coz it has amazing leads, a stellar support cast and an interesting backdrop..hoping Thakurain's role isn't limited to crying and being thick about what her husband is up to coz that would be underutilizing Sadiya's brilliance

Totally agree. Episode was a blast. Like Sanaya said in her interviews, story is the key in this show and all the actors are hell bent on out witting each other with their acting skills which in return is making it wonderful experience for us to watch.

Hats Off to them, Paro made me cry when she was pleading her aunt to save her. It broke my heart when she finally lost all hope. Rudra when he tried to bring some sense into villagers mind and loosing his cool shouted for Thakur to show his face. Then there is the Evil himself who smirked at Rudra thinking he had upper hand and was cunning enough to act concerned about Paro and pray for her strength.

Well said NB !
I loved it - heartbroken at Paro's abandonment
Intrigued by the chess game power plays between Rudra and Tejawat

Hopeful that the seeds of doubt are planted into the minds of the villagers about what has actually happened to their girls they have never heard from again after marriage (a huge creative licence that none of them have ever wondered about it before)

My Dad for the first time seemed off the fence and into the story and excited as much as me for Monday!

As I said in another post Sanaya, Ashish and Tarun - now that's what I call acting!
