The episode starts off.. everyone from Rajji's Maayka (except for Mahi ) is sitting there sadly… and everyone is having flashbacks about Mahi, and in those flashbacks, Mahi is saying how much she loves Jeet.
Then Rajji remembers how Mahi ran away from the wedding. (Jeet I'm going to kill you. 😡 ) Once again, everyone is shown sitting sadly on the floor. Moni breaks down crying.
At Rajji's Sasural
Durga and Jyoti are happily dancing around like schoolgirls. (wait until I get my hands on you two😡) They tell each other how happy they are. Durga says that finally, God listened to us. She then says, "You know Jyoti, when you and Veena were born, I knew you would have to get married and leave. But when Veer was born, I thought that this house has got an heir! Then, when Jeet was born, I thought that he would listen to everything I told him. But, no. He's gotten to be too modern. And you know, Jyoti, until now, I always loved to hear the word "Mama." But ever since my children have been calling other people's mom's "Mummiji," the word "Mama" doesn't sound so good." And she starts talking about how she wants darkness in Rajji's Maayka.
At the Temple
Soni is there, and she is saying "My mom and dad always worship you." to the idol. She says how she never asked anything from God, because she thought that God would always take care of her. She says to God that whatever happened to Mahi was wrong, right? She wants God to answer her.
Just then Jeet (😡 go AWAY Jeet!) walks up to her. Actually, Soni called him there. She says, "Kaal tak tumhe dekh ke bohot khushi hoti thi." (Til yesterday, I was always happy to see you) She says, "I was always happy because you were Mahi's to-be husband. But if today, my words seem bitter, then forgive me."
They have a long conversation, and Soni keeps asking if all the times he talked to Mahi were lies. He says he never talked to Mahi. He also admits that he never loved Mahi, he loved Soni. Soni looks shocked. Soni tells him that she never said that she loved him. Jeet says, "So what about those phone calls?" Soni says that she never called him. MAHI called him. Jeet looks a bit shocked, yet indifferent at the same time!! (Mahi deserves so much better) Soni says that she never loved him, Mahi loved him!
She also asks him, "If you want love in return of your love, then why don't you want to return Mahi's love to her??" He says that when his love for her was never there, how would he return it.
Soni calls him selfish (Soni, you're wonderful) and tells him that she used to think Mahi was unfortunate that she didn't get married to Jeet, but now she thinks that she was VERY fortunate that their marriage broke. Soni looks at him angrily and then leaves.
At Rajji's Maayka
Durga telephones Brij and she says that Rajji should come back. She says that Veer is leaving soon. Brij says he will send Rajji. Durga says she is very sad about what happened, but nobody can avoid fate. She also says a bunch of other mean, stupid stuff. Then she says bye, and Brij tells Rajji that she needs to go back to her Sasural.
Rajji says, "What about Mahi?" and Moni says that they will take care of her. Rajji says she doesn't feel like leaving Mahi like this. Just then Mahi comes down… (poor Mahi 😭 ) Everyone stares at her, shocked.
Mahi says she listened to everything, and tells them not to worry about her. She says that she is fine. She also thinks that Jeet is right, (noo Mahi, he's wrong) and that relationships formed under a misunderstanding never survive. Brij says that she is right.
Mahi says that she has decided to forget everything. Everyone is happy. Mahi asks Rajji if she can drop her to college. She agrees.
College
Mahi thinks about her and Jeet. Then, Veer comes and asks for forgiveness because of what happened. Mahi says she is all right—and then Veer interrupts and says that Jeet is also sad about what happened. (no he's probably not 😡 he probably doesn't even care!)
He says that Jeet is also asking for forgiveness. Just then, Veer calls Jeet over. He starts to say something, then Mahi says that there is no need to say anything. Jeet says that he can't mend her broken heart, but can they still be friends? Mahi says okay, but will he keep his promises? He broke the other one. Jeet says just ask me for anything (as a friend) and I'll agree. Mahi asks him for his heart. Jeet feels awkward and looks around. Mahi then starts laughing and says that life played such a huge joke on her, so can't she play a little joke on him? (😭) Then Jeet and Veer leave.
Some girls start making fun of Mahi, and Mahi runs from there and cries.
Rajji's Sasural
Veer is leaving and takes everyone's blessings. Durga tells Veer that it's time for him to leave.
Soni's/Mahi's Room
Mahi is looking for something in the closet. Soni asks her what she is looking for, and Mahi replies that she is searching for her book. Soni asks if she can help her find it, but then the phone rings. Soni picks it up.
It is Rajji, and she is asking if Mahi is fine. Soni says yes, but she is looking for something. Mahi is shown, with a bottle of tablets in her hand. (OMG Mahi don't even think about it!) She puts everything but the bottle back in the closet. Rajji wants to talk to Mahi, but when Soni turns around to give Mahi the phone, Mahi is not there.
Soni starts calling Mahi's name. There is no reply. Soni sees the box that the bottle of tablets was kept in. She runs over and sees the bottle missing. The episode
ends on her worried face.
Precap
Mahi has the tablets in her hand, and she falls down. Soni runs into the garden and calls Mahi's name. Suddenly, she sees Mahi's bangles on the floor…
