I have made comparisons with the scenes that we saw again in (Ek baar phir ), but now with different and better results. Madhu (prasai) added the pictures to make it a collage .
Comparisons EK BAAR PHIR
1. Kolhapur hotel - giving saree for the kuldevi - family. Now in the jungle hut - giving shirt after warming it in the fire of love - what he is wearing - so giving self to Astha nothing for the family here. Here it is two people husband and wife sharing equally. Not done with force but out of love and care (comparison can also be made with Anjali forcefully asking Astha to eat in Shlok's plate with his leftovers).
2. Kolhapur hotel reflection - attracted to her beauty for first time, mesmerized- lover, now in the jungle hut - seeing her change in the window glass - as husband with care, her soul mate.
3. Kolhapur temple walking in steps together after Shlok takes out the shoes. Destiny brought them together. During Shakti puja walking together as couple. Destiny again played a role.
4. Kolhapur temple - mahalakshmi as durga (it it durga aarti), wih Patni puja- Patni as mahalakshmi and durga (Shakti).
5. Shlok putting the saree pin during engagement ceremony as he accidently took it out. At that time as a lover, so asking permission, now going into her room without permission, asking her to turn around and putting the blouse hook as husband -wife, no barrier anymore.
6. Shlok's arrogance to media landed him in trouble at award fiasco- so NA says if Astha had said yes to Shlok for marriage this would not have happened. With the villagers Astha controlled Shlok's arrogance with the villagers by saying sorry and at the same time saying no wife likes her husband to be demeaned. So keeps her husband's pride too.
7.Astha places hand on Shlok's hand to control his anger when she first went to Agni house when Anjali refuses Astha to touch her feet. With the villagers Astha controls Shlok's anger again in front of the villagers by holding his hand. Now with more rights as a wife.
8.Pati puja - demeaning - as to drink dirty water. So that wife is oppressed. Patni puja - asked to walk two steps with wife because she is his shakti his power to fight evil, to do good.
9. NA puja - giving water - for dad, family. NA birthday - missing it. Doing what is necessary for the wife.
10. The rat scene in the store room when Astha was holding Shlok and in the jungle hut with the snake scene where she was trying to remove his hand.
11. Can compare the snake scene with the mud scene also where in the mudscene Shlok stopped Astha from saying anything due to anger, but today Shlok held her mouth to prevent noise so that snake does not come near them.
12. Astha putting blanket on Shlok when he was shivering and she had gone to his house and Shlok pulled her as he did not want her to leave (he was thinking of Swati then) , but in the jungle hut Shlok covered Astha with her saree when she was shivering and Astha on her own hugged him and slept peacefully. So trust complete now.
