ganesh chaturthi i a 11 days festival were ppl keep idols of lord ganesh a t home & conduct pujas ... & emerse it in sea on 2 [ that means the idol is basically kept for 1 & 1/2 only], 5th, 7th[ thats gauri visarjan]0r 11th day...
