Today I wanted to list down the reasons why I love to watch this show.
1. The complicated character of Mr.Shlok Agnihotri:
My first post itself was on this character. He is chauvinistic, shrewd, manipulative and handsomeđ.
Like most of us, we love to hate him and hate to love him; such is this character built.
We hate him seeing torturing his lovely wife, but we love to see him romance or get concerned for her. People may give him different names like phsyco or kamina what ever but end of the day it is a fictional character. I again love it because how it is being portrayed amazingly by Mr.Avinash.
The director Waseem Sabir and dialogue writers should be commended for creating such a strong character ..keep up the good work guys..đ
Disclaimer: Regarding if I would like to live with such a character person - NO please.
2. Lead pair's (Avinash and Shrenu) sizzling on-screen chemistry:
What can I say - it is either their Nok-Jhok's, cat-mouse games, romance ; they set screen on fiređłđł.
3. Dialogues - All witty , sarcastic and dramatic, awakening kind of dialogues.
In each episode there are at least 2 such dialogues which we can remember.
Mostly it is Shlok with witty, sarcastic dialogues, but Astha has also started witty, humorous dialogues now đ.
4. Theme - Creating awareness on domestic Vviolence and Women empowerment.
The show shows different kinds of Domestic Violence and draws parallels to them.
Mental Torture - by Shlok to Astha
Physical Torture - by Abhay to Jytohi - this is by far very unbearable.
Both Mental and Physical Torture : by NA to Anjali
LoveLorn Nest - By Varad to Sojal: I think this is also kind of torture to her.
My POV is this show is creating awareness on domestic violence,
Disclaimer: But because the lead actor also involved in this it kinda feels like it is glamorizing/promoting it.
However, I do not think that is how we have to take it. With course of time the show will definitely show how to get out of such relationship. We have to accept the fact that this domestic violence is prevalent in the world. They have set the path and slowly showing how all the ladies emerge as winners. Astha is brave, fearless and fighting back, then Jyothi, Anjali, Sojal will follow suit is my prediction. I guess that is what makers want to show , how to get out of/resolve an abusive relationship. ok ENUF said about domestic violence - I'll shut up now.
There are many other reasons too which add to this wonderful story- awesome star cast, suspense in the story line and last but not least wonderful direction by Waseem Sabir etc.,
