He's everything
The sound of the door bell made Kria wake up from her peaceful afternoon nap .She groaned in frustration as she made her way to the door . Who could be at this hour of the clock ! She swore she would butcher the salesman if he dared to challenge her patience once again .
As soon as she opened the door , she found two strong arms clutch her into a tight embrace .
"I missed you Kriyu " , He whispered into her ears as he pulled her a little more closer . She couldn't state in words how soothing it felt to be in his arms after so long.
"Hmm. Me too" , she sighed reciprocating to his embrace .
How much she had longed to be in his arms for the past two weeks . As if the tiring business trip wasn't enough , his absence was making her condition worse .
It had been just three months since they had tied the knot but dealing with his silly antiques and scolding him for his untidy habits had become a routine for her. They would make irritate
her in his presence but make her miss him terribly in his absence .
He broke the hug only to take her back in her arms and kiss her hungrily .
After what felt like eternity , the broke the kiss for oxygen .
" Are you fine Kriyu? You look exhausted. And how is my Anju ?" , He enquired as he caressed her face .
"I am fine , just a bit tired after the trip. How are you ? Anju is sleeping . You know she didn't miss me one bit . She narrated me how much fun she had with daddy in the past two weeks " , She pouted .
" yes Anju and daddy enjoyed a lot . But we missed mommy ", He smiled genuinely .
" Acha now go and freshen up we will talk later " .

Rey found his wife on the phone facing towards the wall as he entered the room . He approached her and tugged her waist in his arms as she cut thecall .
"Rey "
" Yes sweetheart " ' He mouthed huskily as he planted a wet kiss on her neck tightening his grip.
" I ...I want to tell you something important " , She stuttered as his lips devoured her skin some more .
She , all of a sudden jerked her shoulder & pulled herself from his hold.
" what's the matter Kria ? " , He questioned irritatedly , slightly taken aback from her reaction .
"The thing is I have been experiencing anorexia and uneasiness from the past one week so I had been for a check up to the doctor " , He answered a bit shakily .
" Hey , you are alright na ? "
"Ye..yes . she advised me to undergo a blood test and the reports are
out and .." , She paused wiping the sweat droplets from her forehead.
" and ? " He asked in anticipation .
" and she said I am expecting "
"oh ok .you are expecting. Wait . WHAT KRIA ! OMG You are expecting ! That means I am going to become a daddy ! I am so so excited sweetheart ", he almost jumped in excitement and hugged her .
" But you already a daddy na ? " , she whispered almost inaudibly and before he
could understand his faux pas he found his wife weeping uncontrollably on the floor .
He wanted to kick himself hard as realized the mistake that he had unknowingly committed .
"Hey sweetheart . Look here . Look into my eyes . I am sorry . I didn't intend to mean that " , he said lovingly as he made her look into his eyes .
Her tears spilled some more and she whimpered like a baby as her eyes met his .
"I love Anju as much as I love you Kria ! She is my daugther and I want you to know that " , He tried to pacify her helplessly as she sobbed some more .
" Listen , will you ? I know God didn't bestow me with the privilege to be named as her biological father . It was my misfortune that I was not by her side ,by your side all this while. "
" I know that you have been through a lot Kria . I was not by your side when your family forcefully made you marry that b*stard . And I will regret that for the rest of my life ", he asserted as a lone
tear escaped from him eyes.
She almost choked . Doubting his love for her and Anju was the last thing that would ever come to her mind . He had been a wonderful husband and a perfect father . And she had always admired him for the same . She knew he would give his everything for their daughter willingly but the mother inside her was scared , extremely scared .
" NO ! No I didn't mean that Re..." ,
"Let me complete " , he stopped her mid-sentence and held her . " I had not been besides you both all this while and I know I have missed three precious years of her life . But I am here to watch our angel grow . She will be my eldest daughter .My angel , my aura , always . And I won't
force you for anything " , he said reassuringly.
She gazed into those loving eyes .How much love and longing did they possess . She
didn't even realize when her tears dried up and her worry etched frown was replaced by a satiating smile .
Her train of thoughts stopped midway as she heard faint cries of Anju from the opposite room . And before she could get up and make her way to her bedroom ,her eyes fell on the most alluring sight ever which made her heart swell with joy at the site they witnessed .
Reyaansh had held Anju in his arms as he walked to and fro and patted her back lovingly .
She silently thanked God for bringing him into her life . He was her everything , everything .
"Welcome to the family baby " , she caressed her developing foetus as she walked towards him .
