I did not like Varad lecturing Sojal about how to be a mother. He lectures that whatever happiness Kavya got today was only due to Aastha, True !! but did Aastha organize everything... No !! She only requested Varad to allow him to organize the party and it was Varad who supported her decision and then called the decorators and not Aastha, so praising her for nothing did not go down my throat.
Had Varad ever supported his wife, NO !!..
Sojal always have tears in her eyes when she sees Anjali punishing her daughter for nothing, she did not rose against them, as she was just following his own mother's orders, In fact he himself did not say anything to his mother about them, he himself had never gone against the rules and celebrated Kavya's birthday... If he would have supported Sojal as a husband, even she would not have succumbed to Anjali's words.
Secondly, as a wife she also wants her husband to have the same respect which Shlok has, so when she sees Varad not doing anything to please them, she has taken it upon herself to please her in-laws by following their orders blindly and be in their good books so that they give Varad also the same respect which Shlok gets in the house.
Today the praise which Varad put on Aastha looked hollow to me, coz if you have the guts to go against, why did not you do it earlier ? Y lecture Sojal on how to become a proper mother when he himself was never able to be a proper father ? Y blame Sojal for not giving the happiness which she got today, when he himself had never given Kavya that happiness till date ? Y blame Sojal for not rebelling and helped Anjali in maintaining the peace of the house when he himself never had the guts to rebel ?
What does he exactly want Sojal to learn from Aastha ? Does he also want her to rebel just as Aastha does ?
