What if your BF is better looking than you?

Suppose you're in the starting of a relationship. You don't love him yet, just like him.

But he has a gorgeous 8/10 or 10/10 face and you're just average.

What are you concerned about in such a relationship? What are you fears and insecurities?

From what I see in real life, the girl is very eager to pay for him (although he doesn't like it) cause she thinks he's a already a bonus. Girls are usually not like that around guys.

Then there's the insecurity of him cheating cause he has the opportunity (new proposals every month, and practically every single girl proposes). We're talking in India.

That's okay. I don't think looks matter is true love. If you guys love each other truly then their looks, and distance are nothing for you. My love is also very good looking compared to me but it does not bother him nor me. Because all that we care about is the love that we share for each other.

I was thinking more about the initial dating phase. Of course love is blind.

I don't get it? there is an insecurity that exists within a girl that if she is with an attractive guy, his good looks are conducive to making her pay for his meals?

.. I guess what happens is the girl stops eating, and the guy hates to see food go to waste so he eats her food too? I think this happens to ugly guys too tho.. ? I shall poll it and ask them !

You know, I came across an article which gave a very clear perspective of this.

To women, power comes from their beauty; being beautiful is important. When a guy is better looking than her, she feels less powerful. This's how insecurities arise.

It's the same reason why given a chance, a (masculine) guy will never marry a girl who provides while he sits at home; girls may have a hard time believing this, but men are like that.

And about the meals thing -- I've actually seen this happening. They guy really wants to pay, but the girl will not let him.

DM I believe women need to be with men less attractive then themselves, ultimately they want to feel like the beautiful one in the pairing, and that they guy should feel lucky to have someone better looking then him next to him.

That happens when the girl is wayyy too beautiful than the guy. If she's 2 or 3 scores better (out of 10), then it's ok.

Oh yeah, those good looking guys you know. I'm on the other side of the spectrum, so girls don't talk to me. They even avoid saying hello/hi.

Apparently she has insecurity issues. Beautiful girls do have issues like this I've heard.
