The yet-to-be-titled serial to be aired on Sony is produced by Jay Mehta and it will have Krystle Dsouza playing the daughter-in-law who encourages Poonam's character to study. Avers Jay, "Poonam has worked with me in my film Police Public and when I thought of this role, she was perfect. As for Krystle, she is a good actress and suited the character. Basically, the story is about two women with contrasting personalities, who uplift each other." He added that the serial is based on a play Sharda scritped by Varsha Adalja.
