We don't know what happened to Gauri. What we know so far is that Soham had two wives. Ankita and Prashant's mother died. Mansi, Pranav and Sonu's mother left them. It would appear that on her deathbed, Ankitya's mother made her sister promise to marry Soham and look after her children.
