A couple of days after his unceremonious exit from Bigg Boss, Kushal Tandon tells TOI about what went wrong in the house
Do you think you have fulfilled the objective with which you went inside the house?
I wanted to have fun, become fitter and rid myself of alcoholism. I have lost eight kilos in one month. Having said that, I would request viewers to stop Salman-bashing.

What I said was just a reaction to what she said, sitting inside the box. Since she was not wearing her mic, her abuses and derogatory remarks were not audible. It is only after she commented on my family, that I told her that she is a nobody in front of her elder sister Kajol. Armaan Kohli has abused every single woman in the house. I just called Tanishaa dirty and fat. You have to hear what Armaan told Kamya (Punjabi) during the same task.

I totally understand Salman (Khan's) stand. Had I been in his place, I would have also chosen to stand up for the girl (Tanishaa), who I have seen grow up. However, I feel Armaan is being favoured unreasonably. How can you turn a blind eye to his bad conduct towards women? Also, if I have been ousted for violence, they should have eliminated Tanishaa too.
What's your equation with Gauahar?
We are close friends or let me say, more than friends. Who knows what lies ahead.
But Viveik Mishra (another inmate) claimed that you guys were inside the loo for 20 minutes, under the pretext of Gauahar's poor health.
If he has said that, shame on him. Everybody knows that Gauahar was unwell that day and was throwing up. There were people outside the loo, who heard her. I am appalled to know he could say something like that.
She came across as interfering. Many even felt that you were remote-controlled by Gauahar.

I am single. Also, I want to remind the makers that this is the Bigg Boss house, not Kushal Tandon's house. Why are they roping in my exes? I dated Candy in 2000 for a year. Isn't that too far away in the past?
What did you advise Gauahar before she went inside the Bigg Boss house again?
I have never fought for myself. I have always stood up for other inmates like Asif Azim, Andy, Pratyusha and Kamya, who were abused by Armaan. I have told Gauahar to be strong, be herself and play nicely.
Will you go back? If yes, will you be a changed man in your second stint, considering that your exes are also going to be there?
I don't have to change anything. I will be myself, which I was during my stay. No man will keep quiet if a guy makes fun of a woman's lingerie and discusses her bust size. I will always stand up for what's right. My exes respect me and I do the same.
How would you react if a similar situation were to arise inside the house after your re-entry?
I won't be as aggressive, but will definitely voice my opinion and displeasure strongly.
