beena, that's a lovely piece on that diya of friendship we share... and as you say, this will stay lit long after diwali is done, especially if the boy and the girl we get giddy over have some good things happening in their live.

can't say i have been keep tabs on the giirl... but the boy has invaded my land and refuses to go home... am i complaining? ha ha. gorgeous snaps from the pandals... may i share a few diwana type edits here... this is the time for sweets where i come from, somehow these seem appropriate. 😆

and i have given him a name... mittir moshai... bhalo naam ("good" name), argha barun mitra. (guess whose maiden name was mitra), his friends call him ben, name acquired when he was studying law at cambridge (hope they do teach law). his gori gf calls him aggie. now he's here and indulging his zamindar family by doing the done thing for pujo... just waiting to leave and go back to england the moment all festivities are over, when on the evening of nabami he bumps into someone at the pandal... 😆

a memory and an intensity i miss like mad.

a sense of sand and the mountain passes in his eyes, his stance, he takes you there with just a turn of head, an endless gaze.

she's beautiful, he sighed, the words almost leaving his mouth before he'd had time to think. no, not asr... nahiiin, it was my husband.

you don't have to explain to pals why you do what you do. hope you liked the visuals... and they brought back all the right memories... even the ones that are coming along.

As this Dussehra brought all positive signs for IPK fans..with all actors in it, bizy with new shows ...I hope we will have Diwali dhamaka too with all positive energy we are seeking and giving😉.

So crooner buddies🤗...I wish you all a very Happy Diwali😳

And also with MAMR first look slated on Oct 19th, I hope we will have diwali dhamaka too and positive signs for Sanaya's new show.

YAY...I am excited seeing this two in frame...I love Ganguly and with Sobti..what a super combo
