I hate this arrogant manipulative lawyer. He is very annoying but at the same time he is very hooot.I can't imagine myself in kushi place. He trapped her in every way.

I must say it was breathtaking to read.

Wow Harsha I am baffled what an intelligent piece of writing! You have really weaved this story wonderfully. The world of Lawyers is definitely not black and while, their whole game is manipulation, gathering evidence for their case at any cost and in here in particular you have covered Arnav's characterization wonderfully.

I may hate him and as you told me once how I am probably one of the few who strongly dislikes his ways of handling Khushi but I can't help it. What with the way you have built his character, I can't help but hate his ways. Sure he can play his games in the court room but to play with Khushi like this is definitely all kinds of wrong in my book anyway. I Love the way you have made Khushi as well, she maybe insanely attracted to him but she has also realized what a master manipulator he is. After all he is the one who pursued her anyway. For a brief second he did sound sorry to have used her in the court room drama but the whole remorse wiped as soon as he got into the details of what he did. At least Khushi threw the remote, I would have done worse for there is nothing more important than Self Respect. I wonder if She will teach him a lesson there or will he manage to surprise us all?!

Needless to say I will look forward to more.

Hi Harsha,

Saw this story in Shruti's list of new FFs and I am so thrilled to be reading this. Sorry couldn't be there from the start and share my thoughts on each chapter.

This story indeed is toxic and the Arnav of this story is even more toxic. I am in love with this story and I have a huge crush on Arnav the lawyer. Of course there are times in the story when I really hated him for all the manipulations but then he is a lawyer and he has good reasons/causes behind it.

I really feel for Khushi, I think she is just being pushed around by her company, Aztec, the council, in some way Arnav's family too in the name of match making and Arnav. They all are using her passion for her work and her honesty to their advantage. I know she is strong, and I hope she stands up for her. I am hoping that Arnav will keep all his manipulations, twists and surprises aside and has a heart to heart talk with Khushi and gives her the emotional assurance she is expecting and needs.

The banners for each chapter are beautiful. Horse one is my favorite.

I loved the update. the idea of the garden, the way he kissed her there, that was so hot. also, neel working for arnav, unbelievable twist.

Your Arnav is practically drool worthy and I have a hard time breathing while I read all those kisses. Its my heart which is stopping the beating rhythm. God! I loved that kiss and really really want my man to kiss me like that..Arnav Singh Raizada in full force..oh god! does such a man exist??? furious wings of butterfly in stomach??? thats a first time I read something of that sort..butterfly can be furious but its wings???

"Khushi Gupta found herself stumbling towards the charm and bed of the formidable lawyer through the next week" ---- Honestly I didnt like the presentation of this line. Found it very bad taste... Because seriously from the way you presented Khushi, it doesnt suit her image. Of course, you explain in the next line " Never had she imagined herself to be game for something so temporary and flimsy. Though she did have her own share of relationships but hadn't succumbed to desire head first. Sex was the natural progression. Her body didn't rule her mind. But now it did. She decided to bottle up all her ideologies in a box to be opened up later. She wasn't perfect. Never had been". But still you could refine it. Desire made her fall for him..but was it desire only??? May be.. but still I couldnt digest that line..my issues..

" What an idiot she had been !" well, this is ur usual style and dialogue..

well, this lawyer ASR is superb and wow, what a manipulator! awesome, I was really stunned..But now how he is going to pull Khushi out of this?? He really did frame her and allowed a clean slate to Neel. His association with Neel really came as a shock to me. I mean it was a surprise...Well, Shyam was superb good in this story then...cool! Its always the good guys who loose out..:-)

Wonderful update. Arnav seems to be far more sagacious & sly than I had thought of him earlier. He a shrewd manipulator who gets what he wants either by hook or crook and he is well aware of the tactics to be followed to hit the enemies target right on their face. Its really disheartening to see khushi being used as a pawn and the worst thing is the poor girl was clueless all along & played well by arnav. One thing that I absolutely love about your story is your strong & independent woman characters, who though seems to be momentarily vulnerable at times but knows when & where to strike back. Albeit arnav is obnoxious jerk and his success mantras are wrong, I feel its bit unfair to curse him entirely as it was his love for his land & its heritage that made him do such things and I hope he sets everything right as far as khushi's career is concerned. I guess there's lot more to come and I will wait for you to unfold it.
