Ok, adorable Maha. Totally made my weekend. My favorite part was Shlok's open answer to Astha's question about Swati and his offer to rub her foot in front of his mother! 😉 She snapped back at him in front of her too, very wifey. He has really come a long way. Those were genuine moments of vulnerability for him. He wasn't playing then. Also his smile at the photograph was quite genuine. Shows that he's really falling for her.
On the other hand, the couch scene, definitely playing.
But some of the dialogues, while romantic, seemed unprompted. Like Astha saying that she's not his wife? His reply was good. The writers need to work on dialogue finesse. Something needs to prompt these kinds of dialogues before they are said. The writing of the characters have been strong so far, but the dialogues fall a little short and look inspired by you-know-who's dialogues.
Shrenu did well today. Avinash was also very confident. I love his body language on the couch. Watching over her like a black panther, makes for a very sexy scene. Parents also acted very well. Loved Kalindi's anger against Shlok today 😆. He looked properly chastised. She has spirit and it shows. As they say, like mother like daughter. I am playing off this assumption in my FF. Astha needs to be very spirited after Shlok reveals his true colors.
