Part 1
Shloke walks in majestically with petite Astha in his arms and looks around. All the others present in the room are dumbfounded seeing Astha in his arms. Shloke makes Astha sit on a chair and tells his father that while getting out from the car Astha twisted her ankle. Since she was having problems walking, he decided to carry her. Neeranjan heaves a sigh of relief and Anjali goes to check Astha who is now completely tensed. Anjali gives Astha's introduction to the parents of the prospective bride as a girl who works for them and that she is always in a hurry. That's why she cannot see where she is going and always falls. Anjali continues that Ashta can also be described as a person who makes a mess due to her own nature. Baba Neeranjan introduces the couple to Shloke as Mr and Mrs Pradhan who is not only an old associate but also old friends. Mr. Pradhan smiles and adds that soon they are also going to become relatives which confuse Shloke. Neeranjan asks Shlok to come with him because he has some important things to discuss. Shloke baby orders that medicines should be brought for Astha who is feeling a bit uncomfortable with Anjali standing as a guard in front of her. Neeranjan takes Shloke baby to a room and sternly tells him that he has never held Shloke's hands to guide him but Shloke should be a bit careful regarding delicate matters, especially when it concerns a girl. Then he asks Shloks whether he understands what he is being told. Neeranjan continues that one should maintain one's dignity and some distance and tells Shlok that he is imparting this knowledge because some of his past actions have had major effects on their personal and professional lives. Neeranjan finishes off his sermon by telling Shlok to forget what has happened in the past and to instead concentrate on his bright future moving ahead and getting married. Shloke who was listening all this with a very guilty look, becomes stern on the word marriage. Outside Anjali is pointing out that marriages always happen between people belonging to the same status and that their prestige will increase when the Pradhans stand next to them. The Pradhans now want to leave and Anjali requests them to wait for Neerajan who should be arriving any moment. She also invites them to come to the anniversary function and to also bring Tania, who is going to be their special guest. Sojal not to be left behind also pips up and tells the Pradhans to bring Tania and gets a glare in return from Anjali. Neeranjan walks in and enquires to Astha whether she has got medicine for her twisted ankle. Anjali gets scared and assures Neerajan that she is going to get the medicine for Astha.
Part 2
The guests leave and Vinayak sarcastically mutters to himself that finally the drama had ended. Everyone leave and Astha and Anjali are left in the sitting room. Astha apologizes to Anjali that because of her the family and their guest had to face problems. Anjali tells her that this is nothing new because she has been doing this from the moment she has entered their lives and that problems have always followed her. In Kirloskar's house Kalindi receives a phone call regarding Avdhut which leaves her irritated that because of a careless mistake regarding the invitation cards Astha and her father's name is being pulled into a mess. In Agnihotri mansion slow motion has brought a bucket of warm water for Astha who is dithering from soaking her ankle in it. Shlok arrives and irritatingly tells Astha to put her leg in the water otherwise it will swell up. Astha retorts that she is doing exactly that and then continues dithering. Shlok tells her that if she cannot then shall he do it and Anjali gets a shock. She tells slow motion to apply medicine on Madam Astha's feet and tells Shlok that men should not touch women's feet because lessens their prestige, to which Shlok rolls his eyes. Anjali continues that modern girl like Astha get flustered even with a little pain Shlok is now gets exasperated and tells Anjali not to interfere in his work and that women should not always interfere in everything. Astha is watching the watching the verbal volleyball match that is going on between mother and son. Her phone starts ringing and Shlok tells her to first apply the medicine and then tend to work. Astha is worried that it might be her mother who is worried and trying to contact her. Shlok tells her to come to the study after she feels ok because they have to finish some work and walks off. Anjali sarcastically tells Astha that since she could not get things in the straight path she has now chosen a crooked path to get her way and that she is deliberately throwing herself on Shlok. She also tells Astha to not try to reach the sky because she will fall on her face. Astha slowly stands up and tells Anjali that she is not only older to her but also much more experience and that she has not forgotten her mother's teaching. She only came back to finish her work. Shlok is in his room looking through some picture albums and Astha arrives. He gives her an album and tells her that it contains some nice pictures of his father wedding and to use them to make the collage. Astha is in deep thought and when Shlok asks her she tells him that she is thinking about his mother. Shlok taunts her by asking that whether she is now looking for sympathy and Astha retorts that she does not want anything from him. Some pictures fall from the album and Astha picks them to realize that they are of Shlok's childhood pictures and she starts smiling. She giggles and returns two but keeps one in her hand and keeps on giggling. Shlok comes to check why she is gigglingand realizes that she is laughing at his baby pictures. Astha gives the pictures to him and they both share a light moment.
Part 3
Kalindi calls Astha and asks her where she is. When Astha tells her that she is at Shloke's house Kalindi asks her to immediately return home. Shlok tells her that she can take the albums and go home but as she is climbing down the stairs Sojal sees her and decides to have some fun of her own. She tells Astha that she cannot leave with the albums and also reminds Anjali of this very important fact who in turn gets furious. Astha tells them that Shlok asked her to take them with her. Anjali informs that the albums contain some personal pictures and she has to finish the collage at Agnihotri house. Astha is also sweetly told that Shloke's marriage has been fixed to a girl whose alliance has been brought by Sojal's parents. This makes Astha mutter to herself that how did Shloke say yes to this. In the meantime Shloke comes down to enquire what the problem is and Anjali tells him that she never interferes in his problems, but she cannot allow the albums to leave the house. Neeranjan also decides to join the album party and sternly enquires what the drama is all about and that to in front of a guest and requests Astha to finish the work and then go home.
At night time when Varad returns from office, Sojal decides to give him the most important news that there is something going on between Asstha and Shlok and because of Astha Shlok shouted at his mother and that there was a big drama. Varad gives an uninterested look and tells Sojal to not get involved in these matters and to not to come running to him crying when Anjali shouts at her. He also tells Sojal to tell her mother to take back the marriage proposal. Sojal is now on a roll and she decides to wind up Astha because she has decided that this is going to be her current job description in the house. She a visit to Astha to specially tell her that Shlok is getting married to Tania and that he has said yes. Shlok arrives and Sojal sweetly tells him that she came to give some refreshments to Astha and leaves them alone. Shlok sits and studies Astha with a sarcastic look on his face and Astha gets flustered. Shloks enquires whether there is any problem and Astha mutters to herself that everyone in the house is after her. Then she loudly continues that everyone in this house is after her. On top of that is congratulating her that she is getting married when it is him and she should go and talk to that nice girl Tania. Why will anyone bother about what she is feeling? She realizes what she has said and gets up to leave when Shlok holds her hand to stop her.
Part 4
He approaches her from behind, leans in and asks her seductively what he should do. He goes on to hold her hand. Both of them have a tug of war with their hands and then they realize that their hands have got stuck to each other because of the glue that was on Astha's hands. Shloke sarcastically tells Astha that why is he not surprised because wherever she is present problems are also present. They continue with their arm wrestling session when Astha almost falls on Shlok and tells him off for not standing straight. Then they have a verbal match regarding the fact they are not married to each other and hence Astha cannot shout at Shlok as if she is his wife. At the end Shlok leaves and Astha continues with her work. Shlok turns back and smiles while watching Astha trying to finish her work.
In Neeranjan's room he is telling Anjali that Shlok has not said no to this marriage proposal and that he knew that Shlok will never refuse him. Then his eyes fall on some shirts that Anjali was ironing and he tells Anjali off for not ironing them well. He continues lambasting her that even if Shlok has refused to call her as his mother but does that mean that she also does not consider him to be her son. He further tells her that she should be more aware regarding what Shlok is upto and onstead of him she should know better regarding what Shlok is doing nowadays. Anjali who was quietly listening to all this does not realize that the shirt that she was ironing has actually started burning. She sits by herself with a thoughtful look and Shlok in his room is looking at some old paper which had news of the awards ceremony fiasco. Astha is trying to finish her work and Anjali comes in to taunt her again telling her whether she now wants to spend the night. Astha tells her that she has finished and that she respects Anjali a lot and also expects that Anajali will at least give her some respect. Astha places the collages in a vertical position when Anjali realizes that it contains some pictures that were present in an old album, the album she had asked Astha not to touch. She gets furious and Astha retorts that why is she so bitter and that she does not even care for her own parents. Anajli loses her cool and raises her hand to slap Astha only to be stopped by furious Shlok who tells her that she cannot touch Astha because Astha is with him.
Part 5
Anjali gets furious and asks Shlok what Astha means to him. Shlok tells her that Astha is very important to him which leaves both Anjali and Astha shocked. Anjali leaves and Astha also picks up her purse to leave. Shlok tells her that he will drop her and Astha answers that he cannot always drop her. While leaving the house Astha realizes that she has left her mobile behind and she goes back again. She proceeds towards Shlok's room thinking that the mobile is there but then gets sidetracked into checking the room, the one that she has been told not to enter. Astha discovers some romantic mementoes and finds a card with Swati's name on it, a half burnt picture and remembers the episode in the temple. In the meantime Anjali reaches the room and she locks the door leaving Astha shut in the room frantically calling bappa to free her. Shlok finds her mobile and decides to go to her home to return it.
Part 6
In Astha's house her parents are very worried that she is yet to reach home and Shlok lands to return the mobile. Both the parties realize that Astha has disappeared and Kalindi tells off Shlok for allowing Astha to go home by herself. Shlok feels guilty and tells them that he will go to look for Astha. After Shlok leaves Kalindi tells Avdhut that this time if something happens to Astha,s she will not leave the Agnihotri's alone. In the meantime Astha is very confused that why did she get locked in the room and starts banging on the doors. Shlok frantically drives around trying to find Astha and mutters to himself that wherever this girl goes problem always follow. He decides to go home and talk to his father regarding contacting police. Shlok reaches home to realize that someone is stuck inside the room which nobody is allowed to enter. He opens it to find Astha and shouts at her as to why she entered the. Astha tells him that she was searching for her mobile and she entered the room because the door was open. Shlok tells her off and warns her not to enter any room just because the doors are open. Astha shows him the half burnt picture and asks him whether this girl is Swati and Shloke warns her from peeping into his private matter, that this is his past and she should not bother about it and then drags her out of the house, with Anjali watching from the top of the stairs.
