Shlok blurts out that he thought Astha will leave him just like swati while scolding her for her disappearance.
Astha apologized to him and shlok tamed by her innocent apology. He walked away from her unable to face her anymore and Astha kept wondering what was wrong with him.
Anjali's brother-in-law warned her about her behaviour across her own daughter in law. He also said Shlok doesnot call her mother after the past incedent. But anjali said whatever she is doing is for the betterment of the house. His brother in law was reminding over when she came in his house as Mr Agnihotri's wife but before he could further say anything against his own brother, Anjali like a wounded snake stopped him from accusing her husband.
When Mr Agnihotri met Anjali, anjali told him about her uncomfort regarding Astha and shlok sending a night together. Mr Agnihotri said not to speak to Shlok anything about Astha but the final decision would he hers.

Shlok dropped Astha at her house. She gave the Prasad to him but he kept his gaze on the road and did not looked back to her. When astha was about to turn to go he apologized to her by saying sorry. Astha wanted him to look at her once but he did not. She kept on walking thinking about the girl whose name he mentioned and Shlok then looked at her retreating back. Once he reached near the entrance he turned to see him and their eyes locked. Once he was gone she thought he apologized but she did not say anything in return. She also thought that she was a very impulsive person but even when Shlok slapped her she did not react, why?
Astha's mother opened the door and hugged her daughter. She enquired about the saree and astha said it was given with Shlok Sir. Her mother told her that she was not liking the fact that Shlok and Astha were roaming around. Astha assured her that they are know their limit and out of all the people how can her mother distrust her daughter. Astha further said Shlok was a gentleman and he took good care of her. Astha's grandmother was stunned to hear Shlok's appreciation from Astha's mouth. Her father asked him to take rest. Her mother told her father about the change in Astha's behaviour. Her father said they have to understand their daughter being friends.

Shlok arriaved and just when he was about to change his mother started questioning him about his stay with astha at night. She wanted answers from him when he said she cannot force him to talk about his personal matter. Anjali accused him for his anger. She also said he had been wrong with the other girl in his life. Shlok told her flatly not to take her name otherwise he will forget what relationship they share and he will also forget that he was staying in the house just because of his father. He requsted her to stay away from his life and that if would be good for her.
Astha was steering in her bed remembering about his trip. She was far away from sleep. His slap and his harsh words kept on playing in her mind. She sat up feeling nice then ther eyes feel on the saree that shlok has given her. She caressed the saree and took it off the hanger. She checked herself in the mirror holding the saree. Then she covered her head and blushed looking at her reflection. Then the reality hit her when she remembered swati's name and her pallu slipped. She asked herself who was that swati.
Sholk was remebring their encounter during rain when he save her from the auto driver. Then he remembered when he saw her in the saree in the dark against the candle light.
Angrily he stated he cannot forget his mission.

Astha look out all her clothes and started choosing her dress and she swore that she will reach before him and he will keep on staring at her.
He looked at the rising sun and said he was coming, purposely in his full conscious.
Astha was ready and chosing bindi when her mother entered and looked at the mess on the bed. Astha was unable to decide on which bindi to wear.
Shlok looked at his reflection in the mirror and said he had a habit of winning and today he would be winning. He looked at his study and remembered how he burnt the picture of that girl.
Astha rushed out of her house. Both her mother and her grand father could see the change in her.
Astha reached office and was happy that she reached before time. He wondered whether shlok arriaved of not just when the peon gave her a letter and said shlok was yet to come.
Reading the letter she was shocked and the colour drained from her face.
Astha arrived at her bosses cabin and questioned them that why they were thronging out from the office?
