Sam! Insightful post :P
The state of the Agnihotri household is pathetic to say the least.
I'm almost positive that Narad Chachu is a good guy. He can see what's happening but probably has no means of changing anything, so he's just stuck. I have a feeling that Astha and him are going to share a really sweet sa bond. :P
Varad is such a pain! If he hates his mother's attitude so much, what's the problem in voicing it? Poor Sojal. Being told by your hubby that if she doesn't like whats happening then she can leave cannot be a good feeling :(
This week is turning out to be such a crucial point in the show, It's going to decide which way the CVs want it to head. It's either going to be really good, or crap.
Payal, loveee your siggy :)
And coming to the post, Narad Chachu is a good boy, but what is the point? He has taped his mouth & is just watching silently. He might team up with Astha, but I am not sure how strong their alliance would be because ultimately chachu leaches off NA financially.
What Varad did was verbal abuse - most common today. There was a need to show it, to show people that abuse is abuse, no matter what form it takes. I hope that at least some people watching the show realised that they had been in the position of either Varad/Sojal once & that whatever that they are doing/have done/have suffered is wrong & should be stopped.
Regarding the direction of the show - it is set. And it is 'quality', unless the CVs change the storyline due to low TRPs which I really hope does not happen. More & more people should watch this show & think about what they are showing. It might change many lives. TV, after all, is a powerful medium.
