If Jyoti lives in Kohlapur, then why didn't Niranjan or Shlok think of bringing her along for the kul Devi pooja?

Niranjan reminded Shlok hat the sari and other offerings need to be done by a woman's hand.
And initially it seemed like Magala and Mangesh (Aastha's bosses) were going along with Shlok
It is only after he sees the disaster in his office caused by Aastha that he says "She will come along with me instead"

Why didn't he think that he can just get his sister to give the offerings?

I know the CVs needed for them to get away like this, but to include Aastha meeting Jyoti just messed with the continuity of the show.
Come on CVs, you truly could have done better than this.

I don't think shlok bothers about anyone in his family. And he thought of taking Aastha on the trip in the spur of the moment. Normally we would visit our relatives living in that place if we had to go to a new place. But this is a serial. Yahaan Sab kuch challah hai...🤣

Seeing how backwards the Agnihotri family is, they probably think that since Jyoti is married, she's not of their house anymore or some BS like that. 😔

i too do not think that the family knows much about Jyoti. the are a family that believes once a girl gets married shes her husband's family.

i don't think they know she lives in Kolapur for that matter. because as backward as they may seem, Niranjan is a smart man, he said the prayer should be done by a woman for a reason, he knew Shlok would most probably take Astha, and that's what he wants ultimately.

Shlok's relation with his sister might same as his relation wid his mother, NA simply avoided annoying his son

And few days back anjali's fav jwaii babu said his wife was out of station will come later or sumthing..may be agnihotris thoight priya isnt around!
