A New Beginning
I just stared at him. This couldn't be happening. I was out with a couple of my friends and he came back. God why couldn't he just leave me alone. I felt my eyes water as I stormed out of the restaurant. I heard Jeevika running after me and turned back.
Manvi: Jeevs please just leave me alone, I will be back at the apartment, I need some time, I can't handle all of this.
Jeevika: Manvi stop, just listen to me. He doesn't deserve you, you don't need to feel bad sweety, he was wrong and all of us know it.
I shook my head. I couldn't walk back in there, just the sight of him made me boil with anger.
Manvi, can we talk. I looked over to see him behind Jeevika and felt the anger rushing to me again. "I don't have anything to say to you so no, we can't talk, please leave me alone," I said coldly turning back around to my car. I zoomed through the streets and finally got home and slammed the door shut. This could not be happening, why does he keep coming back, my mind was screaming in anger and I blindly opened the fridge taking out Jeevika's vodka bottle. I gulped all of it down in one sip and smashed the bottle on the floor screaming. I just stayed on the floor for a couple of hours feeling high until I felt someone pick me up. The touch was so familiar. "Manvi have you completely lost it, why did you finish the entire bottle," he said placing me on the bed. I jerked up. I was still high but I didn't want to be anywhere near him. I felt him jerk me against him as he placed his hands over my lips. "Manvi enough, I talk you listen now, got it. I know you are still mad about Maya but Manvi I was drunk. I promise it will never happen again. Manvi she meant nothing to me. It was just a one night thing and you know what I realized, no one can ever be the same as you. I love you Manvi. I can't even look at another girl now, I refuse to because I know you are the only one that can complete me. Manvi please just give me one more chance, please." I stared at him, was he serious, he slept with another girl and was saying sorry to compensate. I slapped him hard as the anger built up in me. "Virat you know what I went through because of that, I had to listen to Maya sit there and claim a right on my boyfriend, MY BOYFRIEND. How would you feel if Karan had came and told you Manvi was mine and only mine since we slept together." That was all I got to say before I felt his lips on mine. I felt the vodka rush coming back to me as he began moving his lips against mine. "you are mine Manvi, only mine, don't you dare say anything about being someone elses. I won't let it happen, no one can take you away from me," he mumbled kissing me harder. I felt the vodka high completely hit me again and just gave myself up to him. I woke up in the morning to see his arm wrapped around me. His shirt was on the floor and so was mine. I jerked up angry again and realized I was only in my undergarments. I peeked under the sheets to see Virat only in his boxers and glared at him, he was awake now and was just smiling at me. I felt him pull me down and he kissed my forehead as he placed a ring on my finger. "Manvi Chaudhary, I can't stay away from you any longer, marry me, please," he said staring straight into my eyes. I looked at the ring as my eyes watered up and threw it on the ground. "Virat this was the ring I found in Maya's bedroom, she said you gave it to her, I didn't want to come between you two so I left you," I said as tears streamed down my cheeks. "Manvi please listen to me. She stole it from me and Why didn't you just ask me baby, I love you, just read the inside of the ring once please. I took the ring he picked up and read the inside, ViratManvi~ TogetherForever. I just sat there shocked and hugged him tight. "The ring was for me, why didn't you tell me?" I asked confused. He chuckled and put my shirt back on me, Manvi you really are a true one piece, every time I tried talking to you, you either slapped me or just ran away how was I supposed to tell you. Manvi I am really sorry. I was just drunk that night. It won't happen again I promise, please just give me once chance. And since when did you start drinking, you know you could have passed out last night? You are really lucky I came last night, you took off your clothes and mine too and wanted more Manvi." I glared at him. "So you can sleep with her but not me, aghh Virat I just don't know how to understand you!" I said completely frustrated. I felt him tighten his grip as he kissed my shoulder. "Manvi what happened with her was a mistake, I don't want you to be a mistake, I want us to start out new the right way baby. Ever since I met you, you changed me, I fell in love you Manvi and have been miserable this entire year without you. " I was still mad that he slept with her but I guess the real thing that mattered was that he loved me not her, I pulled away still thinking and I felt him hug me from behind "Manvi please," he started apologizing again and I sighed, "Virat I forgive you, but you won't leave me ever again will you. Virat you really broke me completely the first time, I won't live this time if you do," I said crying again. "NEVER, not in this lifetime, not in any lifetime, I am yours and only yours Manvi. " I smiled that was what I had been waiting to hear for past year I lived in anger that Maya stole Virat from me. I smiled and just placed my head on his chest. "I love you Virat" I finally whispered. I had waited so long to tell him but I was so happy it was out now. "I love you too baby," he whispered pulling me closer. I smiled taking the moment in sighing at the new happiness and cuddled closer, he was mine and that was all I needed to know, my happiness came back as the year of anger and hurt I suffered faded, I held his hand intertwined in mine as we welcomed the new beginning for us, a new beginning that would have no end, because we were together forever now.
